Goddamn Benfica, Celtic and giant killers Copenhagen in our group. That's not an easy group at all. Anything can happen there, don't be surprised if United ****s up again.
Gotta love Chelsea-Barca group though. I bet the UEFA rigged it, just to piss off Mourinho after he complained during the press conference.

I actually miss the days when Champions League were only played with 8 teams, 2 groups.. it was the real deal..

I think the group is pretty much balanced, Arsenal are favourites in my book but anything can happen since every team has enough quality to claim one of the qualifying spots.
don't know much about Hamburg tbh, but they are supposed to have a solid team and German sides are never easy...
CSKA has proved its quality by clinching the UEFA Cup recently...the players are basically the same as is their coach.
gonna be a hell of a ride, I hope we can have a good campaign in order to erase last year's embarassement from my mind
Benfica has every chance to go through, but they can't expect ManU to be as poor as last year plus Celtic can be a pain in the ass...and underdogs are always tricky to face, so FCK are to be respected.
Sporting got the toughest group out of the 3 hands down, but I hope they can excel themselves and at least steal the 2nd spot from one of the giants. preferably Inter of course

I've tried to understand, so I got the correct pairings from UEFA website (http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/news/Kind=1/newsId=447892.html) and I've come up with this (yes, I have a lot of time):Dream Team said:

Chelsea were paired with Arsenal, who took group G. In order to avoid these sides to play in the same day, Chelsea had to be in groups A-D. Roma was drawn first, and took D, then Bayern was drawn and got B, which meant that Chelsea had to take either group A or C. C was Liverpool's, so they had to be in A.
There, hope I've cleared any doubts.
EDIT: zka mentions Roma couldn't be in Barca's group, but as I haven't seen it on TV, I'm not sure if that's correct (followed on BBC Five Live). Roma wasn't paired with any side, and could be in any group except those already containing Italian clubs. Dream Team mentioned that the teams not allowed in group A were Porto, Lille and PSV, which is correct. If Roma wasn't allowed in group A either, something was wrong. Also, notice that Barca and Chelsea were drawn quite late in their pots, which meant they didn't have many options (actually, they didn't have any. All possible groups were taken when they were drawn). If you want to believe that's a conspiracy, or whatever, I won't stop you. Just don't try to push that down my throat.
I can't see Spartak successfully competing in the Group stage without a couple of major signings - they need a CB (they shouldn't have sold Nemanja Vidic and Emmanuel Pogatetz) and a striker (at least of the level of Vagner Love and Daniel Carvalho). They can get money for at least one signing from selling Fernando Cavenaghi, it will be better for both Spartak and the player. If they don't sign someone their place will be 4th.
