Yeah, Lucio is suspended... dumb me... Juan will play in his place

And no, Dede isn't on the squad... I'm not sure if people even remember him

you all should register there, it rules!

Juan should replace Lucio, I hate R junior, but for some reason he's always playing.... :nape:
Dede hasnt been called up for a while....how old is he? Isnt he a left back? He would make a good replacement for R Carlos. But Brasil also has Junior who plays that position. After WC06 if Dede is in his 20s he'll prolly get called up.

Is anyone as exited as I am at the possibility that Cafu will play in 2006?? That gets me excited!!

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
Dede is good, but there's Junior... and there's huge popular pressure for Santos' Leo... so I guess Dede doesn't have much of a chance..

Cafu will probably play WC 06 since there's no other decent right back... Beletti is decent but I guess he feels the pressure of playing for Brazil.. and Cicinho is unproven on an international level...

Maradona... good luck to him... hope he fully recovers as a football legend does not deserve to have such a life... (and he is a liverpool supporter now!)

Haha Brazil are taking Bobo! he's decent, ok but certainly not the best youngster we have..

Ive updated our stats on the front page. No longer U20 champs....:( but Confed Champs :rockman:

Also Adriano has won the golden ball, and the golden boot for the Confederations Cup. It is pretty much confirmed that he will play along side Ronaldo, while Robinho will be benched.

Ronaldo wants to be the best again, this coming season and he has been getting alot of rest.

Parreira has also anounced that he will leave the selecao after the 2006 world cup.

yoyo913

Team Captain
Cicinho played amazing at the Confederations Cup final.

Where does he play... I bet a big team will buy him.

cicinho is coming to porto..or betis..both teams are interested...

anyway, i agree on the adriano/ronaldo. i love robinho, but the kid's gotta grow(and when he does..d-a-m-n.) but for now, and if ronaldo is in good shape( ) that duo should be unstoppable..:rockman:

Alianza

Youth Team
Ronaldo a little overweight class striker, Ronaldo in shape god.
the duo of course should be Ronaldo Adriano and Robihno on the bench to get the spoils.

Now that Robinho is pretty much packing his bags for Madrid, who is the next "big thing" in Brazilian soccer?

- Marcelinho (Gremio)
- Ze Carlos (Fluminense)
- P. Saad (Esp. Club Victoria)
- Jo (Corinthians)
- Dagoberto (Paranaense)
- Gil (Corinthians)
- Fred (Cruzeiro)
- Gilmar (Esp. Club Victoria)
- Obina (Esp. Club Victoria)
- Jean (Flamengo)
- Bala (Fluminense)
- Maicon (Fluminense)
- Tiago Prado (Gremio)
- Diego (Internacional)
- Mauriqui (Vasco da Gama)

... Marcelinho (Gremio) & Gil (Corinthians) stand out.

Dagoberto and Fred. Gil doesnt play football at a decent level for like, 2 years already. He's 23 or 24 and he seems past it.

He seems to be uninterested atm... his past seasons have been poor but that imho is down to injuries and a terribly bad team to support him...
