Kahn+Lahm= (Y) yeah

I hope this doesn't effect Podolski's stay in the club. Is he going to rotate with Toni?
Nah. Toni and Klose basically have a guaranteed starting spot. But neither's going to stay injury free for the rest of the season. And we're in three competitions so the stars will get some rest from time to time and players like Poldi can prove themselves.

Ribery, Toni, Klose and Jansen doubtful for Sunday.

OK guys, let's be serious;
sunday in Hamburg we miss too many players, it seems the troubles for Ismael and Poldi are finished, well, but I don't like to spend 70 millions and see the Bayern without Toni, Klose, Ribery, Jansen, Hamit and Schlaudraff, it's too much for us now, almost Ribery I hope could play, with HSV will be a very hard match, let's go BAYERN!!!!!

Ribery, Klose, Jansen, Hamit and Sosa are back in training and should be ready for the match. We'll see Poldi on the bench for the first time again and there's still a slight hope that Toni makes it.

One of the following teams will be our first opponent in the Uefa Cup:

Toulouse FC (FRA)
CF Os Belenenses (POR)
Aberdeen FC (SCO)
SK Brann (NOR)
Helsingborgs IF (SWE)

Hihi, sweet. I hope you draw Brann. I hate Brann and Bergen. I will support you if you draw them. :D

My team can draw Hamburg. :s

So we drew Belenenses. Not bad even though i'd rather avoided a Portuguese team in the first round.

Ohh and UEFA is so hyped obout us in this cup that their main pic was this (H)

You're a Champions Lague team, with an improved squad, in the UEFA Cup, they're gonna milk that as much as possible.

Nice draw. Thank god we avoided those Eastern European backyard sh*tholes. Maybe we can rest some players in the return leg.

Hitzfeld: "I’m happy with the draw. We should be able to eliminate the likes of Belenenses. It’s good we don’t have to travel too far."

Altintop: "I have never heard of Belenenses or ever seen them play. But whether or not they are a big name doesn't matter - often the teams without a big history are the most dangerous to play against, because they have nothing to lose. We will have to be on our guard."

Altintop said everything that I would. I have no doubt that we will knock off this team pretty easily, but I don't like our Manager making those statements in the press. No need to motivate the opponent.

Thank u Hendrik, I've read on the fcbayern.de that many players are doubtfoul for sunday, hope u got reason.......
p.s. why Klose, Poldi and Jansen called up by Löw after injures????? He wants to create a new Sebastian Deisler?:|

p.s. Belenenses is a team from Portugal, not from Malta or Liechtenstein, so we've to play as well as possible to go through the competition.

LET'S GO BAYERN

Btw., has anyone realized the German club with the second highest net spending (around 20 million euros) this transfer window were newly promoted second division side 1899 Hoffenheim?.

Didn't Wolfsburg spend like 30 million euros?

Belenenses has a few decent players and generally play well as a team. They lost 0-1 to Real Madrid (due to a very lucky goal) in a pre-season friendly where Belenenses actually dominated for periods in the match. They're also one of those teams that are almost always a pain in the ass for Sporting, Benfica, and Porto in the league.

Way out classed here though and Belenenses dosen't have the experience to compete here. The game in Lisbon might be a bit difficult but I'm sure it'll be a very comfortable draw for Bayern.

Yeah, but they also received more than 14 million euros for scrubs like Hanke or D'Alessandro. Hoffenheim's net spend is higher.

Toni and Jansen won't make the trip to Hamburg. HSV are without the suspended Kompany and Demel.

Hamburger SV: Rost - Brecko , Reinhardt, Mathijsen, Atouba - Jarolim, de Jong - Castelen, van der Vaart, Olic - Guerrero

FC Bayern: Kahn - Lell, Lucio, Demichelis, Lahm - Van Bommel, Zé Roberto - Altintop, Ribéry, Schweinsteiger - Klose
Also in matchday squad: Rensing, Ismael, Ottl, Van Buyten, Podolski, Wagner, Sosa
