He won't get regular playing time at Werder Bremen. Bremen's coach (forgot his name) won't drop Klasnic or Klose for some Bayern sub, sorry. They're too lethal of a combination at the moment. Charisteas couldn't even get games under his belt, despite scoring loads when he came onto the pitch as a sub (same situation with Valdes).

yea your probably right but hey anything can happen, I never was impressed with Valdes.

Mark trust me You guys better get a RB and atleast one young talented CB. Thuram isn't getting younger and Zebina isn't getting better :X

that's what I think also. Zambrotta is doing a great job at RB but it's Chiellini that scares me at LB. Trabelsi could be an option. Barzagli or Canini could join us for the future Juve CB.

Zambrotta is best at LB or RB? if so get a Full Back like Trabelsi but don't get anymore attacking players you guys are set at that.

Ballack: "Nothing has been signed, otherwise I would've said that."
He and his agent still favour a move to Madrid but the Madridistas want to talk to the new coach first before signing him.
Juve are offering him 5M net which is about the same Bayern offered before withdrawing it.

Back to Valeri Bojinov. I read that Man United and Liverpool are after him.

Original quote from Kicker magazine:

"I'd rather want to play in Germany. Bayern win titles almost every year. My agent told me that Hamburg are interested in me as well, I could imagine playing for them.

Position: Forward

Date of birth: 15 February, 1986

Team: Fiorentina (Italy)

Nationality: Bulgaria

Notes: Became the youngest foreign player ever to play in Serie A at the age of fifteen in January 2002, coming off the bench for Lecce against Brescia. Only four players have ever played at a younger age in Serie A.

Tomorrow Bayern will start negoatiating with Bojinov offering a €12 million transfer fee and a 4-year contract worth €10 million. Today he met Hamburg's officials.

In a couple years time if all goes well, him and Podolski would be absolutely lethal :hump:

I don't follow Serie A regularly so I haven't seen much of him.

Magath on a Ballack replacement:

"We need a player with a strong mentality that can lead the team. Based on the pure skill level we're superior to Chelsea but we lack the mentality. We couldn't replace him with the current squad and would need a new leader. Such a player can be found in the Bundesliga.

I was impressed by the condition of dos Santos, I didn't expect him to cope with our hard training in the first weeks. He seems to be a bit tired now but that's just normal."

Ive only seen a few clips of him before, but I recall his nickname prior to leaving Lecce was "the Bulgarian Rooney". He may be the same build, but does he have the same physical, offensive lynchpin style?

Podolski is 5'7. He's probably not a force at heading to say the least.
Yeh, but in the pictures you posted he(Bojinov) seems quite larger..I guess its cause no one is standing next to him

Has Bayern completely lost touch with Carlos Tevez? I remember them trying to sign him a year or 2 ago. He looks incredible nowadays.

Make America Great Again
I think buying a young highly touted young striker is a great idea and if we can't have Podolski, this seems like a good idea. Bojinov could theoretically play for the club for 10 or more years and become a legend. He's probably average height for a professional soccer player, but he looks to be physically powerful, so he's probably strong on the ball.

With Karimi and Dos Santos here plus a Ballack replacement the midfield already is overloaded. I think Bayern will be looking to sign two young players as a third striker and a third CB.
