I'm hoping to see Guerrero getting at least one half, he deserved it after all the goals in the last friendlies.

Mark van Bommel said in an interview that he'd love to play for Bayern and be Ballack's successor.
He's a good player but a bit too old, he turns 29 next year. And he chose to rot at Barca's bench this season so f*ck him.

Obviously I dont know him personally, but Van Bommel doesnt strike me as the type who would merely ride coattails to glory.

I assumed that when they got him he was going to be playing regularly, mostly because Xavi is really the only two way type in that midfield, excluding guys like Marquez and holding players, and MvB seemed to bring a bit of stability. That, plus the Dutch connection probably convinced him he would have a key role in Barca.

I wouldnt sleep on a guy like that if you can get him. The example of our capture of Maniche shows what a deal you can get on a unsettled, quality player who has something to prove and wants out

Ballack is better or more talented in almost every aspect of the game but we need a player than can lead the team and that's what van Bommel can do.

Why would you sub a striker when being down by one?

I'm not denying that Makaay's playing piss poor though but he always is a threat.

I wonder how Makaay is taking all this pressure? But seriously enough is enough Makaay needs to sit the bench and think about what he may do to the team if this continue's to happen. Guerrero deserves a start and Pizarro well he is untouchable for now.

After yesterday's impressive performance Hoeness will start negotiang with Pizarro about a contract extension soon. The Peruvian sees his future at Bayern so that shouldn't be a problem.
