I understand everything what you're saying, mate, but I can't get why you're protecting Chivu? If he would be loyal, he would agree salary which Roma is offering him. Mexes agreed on that, and he's as good as Chivu or even better.:jambo:

You are totaly in right in the bold words and i just wanted to tell you that he is in life-form and its very hard someone to play like him the last season.
But you say right If he would be loyal, he would agree salary which Roma is offering him.

I think this is enough talking for chivu and lets talk about the new signings or something another.
I dont know the players whose roma have bought but i hope they are good players to be in the first team or substitution.

I judge, that the the new players will be just tender card when we're going to buy someone really good.

They surely won't be here for too long, we have good enough replacements. (Y)

Cicinho to turn down Roma

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The agent of Cicinho has noted that his client is unlikely to leave Real Madrid for Roma this summer.

The Italian giants have renewed their interest in the right-back, but the Brazilian wants a future at the Bernabeu.

“He enjoys working with [boss Fabio] Capello, despite the problems he had at the beginning,” said Riccardo Satri to Centro Suono Sport.

“He would like to win some trophies with Real Madrid and that is why I don’t think he will leave – not even in a co-ownership deal.

“We have heard that Roma are interested in the player and we are proud of that, but we have not been contacted by club officials.

“We did receive a few phone calls from Italy when he was injured, but we decided that he had to focus on recovering his best condition.

“Cicinho has now fully recovered from his injury and would like to stay in Spain to prove his true value.”

The full-back returned to action in March after rupturing his right cruciate ligament during the month of September.

Cicinho, who has reportedly turned down offers from Sevilla and Barcelona, joined Real Madrid in a £3m move from Sao Paulo in 2005.

He was already close to joining the Giallorossi last summer when Roma wanted him on loan, but Real wanted to sell him outright.

Because cicinho turns down the offer, Roma must buy one right defender this summer who will replace the old Pannuci.

I think that roma need to buy one more good striker who has experience in scoring goals and strenght. Someone like Crespo, Toni, F. Inzaghi, Makaay, Nistelrooy, Drogba, because Vucinic has no strenght and experience and he is the only attacker in roma with totti.

If we would have enough money there would be no problem.:nape:

Wages stall Cruz-Chivu switch

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Julio Cruz would be happy to go to Roma in exchange for Cristian Chivu, but the Inter striker won’t accept the salary cap.

The Nerazzurri have been trying to tempt Chivu to San Siro for over a year now and face competition from Barcelona to capture his signature.

In a bid to get the upper hand, they aim to resolve Roma’s striker shortage by offering supersub Cruz in exchange.

“Roma is a club and a city to be admired. On May 28 President Massimo Moratti told Cruz that he would renew his contract for another year, but in the intervening two weeks we have heard nothing,” said agent Gustavo Ghezzi.

“Football in Italy can change very quickly. His intention is to remain at Inter, but if there are other offers then we will sit down around a table and discuss them.

“Cruz can play in any team, even if there are only two or three who can afford him. He won’t go to Milan for obvious reasons, so the others are Juventus and Roma. If there is a chance, then we will negotiate.”

This is not the first time that the Argentine has been linked with the Giallorossi and he would be guaranteed more starts than he has been granted at Inter.

However, agent Ghezzi told ‘Radio Radio’ that there is a definite stumbling block to this deal – Roma’s £1.7m salary cap.

“This is a very big problem. Even with bonuses for achieving certain objectives, we are a long way away from Cruz’s wages.”

This season Il Jardinero has scored 12 goals in just 23 official appearances between Serie A, the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

It will be very good if cruz goes to roma but the offer from inter is to exchange cruz for chivu. Anyway i dont want roma to sell chivu. So if i am the boss in roma i will turn down the offer. Cruz is very good for roma because there is just one striker with totti - vucinic who was very bad this season. I want cruz but chivu is more important in roma. and cruz is not the only one striker in the world there are a lot of others strikers and roma can find someone other.

Guys, I hate to repeat my words but Roma cannot sign new good players cause we got no money first, and then we've a salary-cap of 2,5 millions, so nobody into the great players all over the world will never join Roma, shame but the situation is this, what can we do? We need a new president cause Franco Sensi is old and his health not good, the trouble is that nobody is interested in buying AS Roma.
Also, no problem and forever FORZA MAGICA ROMA!!!!!

Chivu all set for Inter

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roma defender Cristian Chivu is expected to join Inter after the clubs reportedly found an agreement over David Pizarro’s co-ownership.

After losing David Suazo to Milan, the Nerazzurri also seemed in danger of missing out on the Giallorossi stopper after negotiations for the Chilean had stalled.

Pizarro, who moved to the Stadio Olimpico last summer, made no secret of the fact that he wanted to stay in Rome and the remaining part of his contract was meant to be used in part-exchange for Chivu.

The clubs had initially failed to find an agreement and there was the threat of a blind auction – where both sides would put an offer into a sealed envelope with the highest bidder getting their man.

However, a meeting between Inter transfer market consultant Lele Oriali and Roma sporting director Daniele Pradè, as well as a phone call between Massimo Moratti and Rosella Sensi, has seen a compromise reached.

The Giallorossi have agreed to pay £4.2m for the former Udinese playmaker who will now remain at the disposal of boss Luciano Spalletti.

As for Chivu, he will join Inter for £8.4m in return for a five-year contract and half of that fee will be reinvested by the capital giants to secure the services of Bayer Leverkusen star Juan.

The Romanian’s arrival at the San Siro should please Coach Roberto Mancini, who was left furious with the club for missing out on Suazo.

“I am appalled and speechless,” said the tactician to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I don’t know what to say.

“What happened? There is a market consultant called Marco Branca and a President called Massimo Moratti. You should ask them, no one has informed me.”

We have Pizarro 100% for us now, 4,75 millions euro to Inter; the trouble: Chivu is still here, I hope to not see him back in Roma and send this idiot to Inter soon.....:p

Why do you call him an idiot? If you would be a football player, and have two offers, for example: 3mil $/ year from Roma and 7mil $/ year from Real Madrid. Which would you choose? Maybe if the offers were closer at price you would choose Roma because it's your favourite team.

The same thing to Chivu, if the difference between Roma and Inter's offer was not so big, maybe he have stayed at Roma.

GUYS, MAYBE THE TITLE FROM THE LAST YEARS WILL GO TO ROMA.
READ THIS AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TALKING.

Inter Accused Of Faulty "Book-keeping, Relegation Possible!

The Nerazzurri have been accused by the financial authorities that they covered their losses with false accounting for the 2005-06 season.

This is probably one of the worst weeks ever since Massimo Moratti took over Inter. After losing David Suazo to rivals Milan, risking of receiving heavy fines for obtaining the player's signature without the club's permission and apparently also losing out in the Cristian Chivu race, the Nerazzurri have a new problem to face: the financial authorities.

Clubs in Italy must pass the Covisoc check before the start of the new season to prove their financial health, otherwise they would not be allowed to play in their respective league.

According to the latest reports coming from Italy, the financial authorities are accusing Inter of fiddling with their books to be able to register the Nerazzurri in the 2005-06 season - the one they were awarded the Scudetto following the Calciopoli scandal.

If proven to be true, this would be a real blow for Inter's image after repeatedly claiming that this was the 'Scudetto of honesty'.

Inter are accused of inflating the players' values, also known as 'plusvalenze', and according to a specialist lawyer, Mattia Grassani, this is a very serious accusation which could even lead to the demotion of Inter to Serie B football.

"Financial fraud is a very serious crime, only second in the sports justice to the sporting fraud.

"In this case the sanctions for the directors can either be a simple fine up to 5 years suspensions with a proposal of radiation, whereas for the clubs can receive a fine up till demotion. In the code there's also the revocation of the Scudetto, but it's up to the Federal President to decide if there are the extremes."

Apart from Inter, also Milan, Reggina and Sampdoria are involved in the investigations with new developments expected in the coming days.

As soon as the news came out, an obviously pleased Luciano Moggi commented: "Sooner or later, things come up to the surface."

Kimikal, I said idiot and I've missed ok, he's a football player, I wished to mean that I don't want him in Roma, now we got Juan from Bayer Leverkusen and we can sell Chivu to Inter or Barcelona, the best offer we get we gave out the player, I don't like Chivu since he's in Roma, 4 years ago, he's overrated and I prefere another player who is happy to wear AS Roma kit:)

p.s. We've Vucinic too.
