the confidence, last year even if they were 2-0 down they still had the beleif that they can catch up and win..

think about middlesborough.. 3-1 down, 5-3 up...

we have to start from scratch, wait for our injuries to come back, start a new run.. get that power, hunger, confidence, and that beleif back...

title is gone.. good season boys....

lets see what we can do about Fa cup or Champions League...

I am so annoyed that Chelsea are gonna win this title. Id rather Man Utd win it than moneybags FC. I have no respect for Chelsea when they spend 190 mill in 2 summers, but they don't look like losing, and unfortunately, we do and the Bolton performance was the worst I have seen by the Gunners in a long, long time, it was truly woeful. We miss Gilberto and Edu true, but the main problem is our goalkeepers. Almunia is a serious liability. Wenger needs to admit defeat and sign a keeper and soon if we are to rescue anything from what is becoming a very dissapointing season considering the early promise.
We also need quality cover at centre back. Wenger needs to do this in the January window if we are to have any chance of clawing chelsea back, or winning the FA Cup for CL. What we really need is for Chelsea to have the injury problems we and Man Utd have had. Lets see what theyre made of when John Terry goes missing for a month or two. I pray for this, and then maybe we have a very slight outside chance.
Just a thought, once again next week we play the last game of the weekend, a tough game at home to Newcastle, while chelsea play Pompey at home on the saturday. Its likely we will be 13 points off the pace going into that Newcastle game, what the odds of more dropped points? Chelsea have been very lucky indeed - Was never a penalty today either the wankers.

u guys played like crap too Rob... Lampard scored a penalty that shouldn't have been given and he only scored another one in the 90th minute so don't go around telling people that u dominated that game.

thats the thing, chelsea are getting all their luck this season, when we have had none at all.
im just sick of watching arsenal with so much hope and they play like arrogant fools (vieira, henry)lets hope they can keep 2nd place and hopefully rebuild in the summer some positions (especially the supporting role for henry)
and if u think about it, considering arsenal is not a top tier team financially, we have been very good

Posted this in Serie A Thread, might as well put here as well.

Arsenal were dreadful today. They used to play well domestically and dreadful in Europe. But todays game against Bolton felt like I watching a CL game. Viera was the only player who looked above average. How can people legitimitally say Ashley Cole is a better LB than Zambrotta? He was a liability until the last 10 minutes. Would you ever say that about Zambrotta for Juve? Its still early, but compared to Robin Van Persie, Kaka looks unselfish.

Arsenal's goalie (Alumnia) is probably the worst keeper I've ever seen in a top flight. And thats saying a lot. It's really a pleasure to watch this guy mess up on such a consistant basis. I swear I saw teammates trying to restrain Campbell from choking him a couple times. Lehmann has made a couple mistakes, but nowhere near this guy. Its the same this with Carroll being picked over the much better Tim Howard. These English clubs are shooting themselves in the foot. The only top team with a quality keeper is Chelsea, and they have two of them.

Have any of you seen Diouf lately? He gets mistreated by everybody. Gets the rough treatment from the opponents, and the refs do nothing about it. I wouldnt be surprised if Viera tripped Diouf and than the ref gave him a high-five. I think eventually his own teammates will start elbowing him. He needs to get out of this league.

If it's a perfectly legal move then they can't complian, they should of renewed his contract, they can't go crying about losing him if they let him go for free.

Actually in France Youngsters have to sign there first Proffessional Contract with a French Club he didnt

Since the premiership is probably out of reach, I hope this is the year Arsenal makes it through the Champions League. OF course, if they play like they did today against Bolton will probably see an early exit.

I also think that we won't be seeing players like Essien (who looked good today) come here unless the price is too good to pass up.

Well Gilberto will be back by then *fingers crossed* and I have no idea about Edu. We also have Flamini who is already 20 and seems to be getting better and better. Anything better than last year will be good enough for me.

But he's over 16, you sign your professional contract when your 16, so he should of already signed one... unless France is different.

Youre actually not allowed to sign a Proffessional Contract till you Turn 17 and even the you dont have to right away.

The highly-rated 20-year-old rejected the offer of a first professional contract from l'OM after impressing during a season in which they managed to reach the Uefa Cup final.

from here http://www.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,7-1144214,00.html

What i heard when this transfer was first happening was that in France you have to sign you're first Professional Contract with a french club (someone can correct me with that but im pretty sure im right). Flamini had a "Verbal" agreement with his club but nothing in writing so thats why they are pissed of also with the reason i said just above

about wanting manure to win title over chelsea: i have to be honest, as much as i hate seeing chelsea win it, i totally prefer chelsea. chelsea has the money, u cannot ever compare to that, and manure are still the media darlings and get so many decisions in their favor (i watched the pool game yesterday it was obsurd only 2 decisions went against manure and one was the red card which was rightly a red anyway).
chelsea have shown they can play great football, and thats what counts.
