I agree with DiSmithio's point but if Abramovich came to Arsenal and gave Wenger all that money to spend and was able to win a lot of trophies then I would be happy as hell and I wouldn't give a crap about other teams complaining it's not fair.

Yes Chelsea was minutes away of dying like Leeds (Gallas even had a medical at Arsenal and almost joined if it wasn't for Roman) but it's how you spend the money that determines success. And Chelsea have spent the money well to create a winning team.

Money has got Chelsea to where they are now. Without it they wouldnt have the players or manager they have now.

With the players n managers is not just the fact they get paid lots people want to go to a club thats going somewhere and a club with a blank cheque is a club going somewhere.

You can say what ever you want but you and i know that you'd wouldn't be here if it wasnt for the money that game with Roman. Money bought Mourinho to the club who is the reason for this years success. He has got Chelsea playing with fight like a team that is going to be relegated and with the players they have they are dominating

if your beloved team was going to go bankrupt, drop a couple of divisions, never to be heard of again(ie. Leeds, Wimledon, etc...) would u care if some multi-billionaire came and got u out of your problems?


i think i know the answer, know just stop being jealous ppl and live with the fact that Chelsea got money, and stop saying that Chelsea should be a top the premeir league, especially when your team is as good as Chelsea's (PLAYER WISE of course)

like someone said, of course we would, thats not the problem here. we are saying that that is the only reason for ur success, and if i were an arsenal fan in that situation i would admit that that is the reason why we are doing well. but the problem here is ppl like u and rob are saying that the money is not the main reason for success. i hav no problem with this actually happening, but i wuold admit to it. maybe you guys should too.

As fucking if you could even compare our board's finances with Chelsea's board. Hill-Wood and Dein may be multi-millionaires, but Roman is a multi-billionaire. If the board were to pour 100 million pounds per season just for transfers, they'd be busking in the High Street before too long. We certainly can't afford to spend a fraction of what Chelsea are spending unless we want to seriously undermine the finances of the club. On the other hand, 100 million is what, pocket change to Roman - try look at the world without your blue-tinted glasses.

Yes it is important but it isn't everything. If money was the onlth thing that mattered then Inter Milan would be dominating Europe, Real Madrid on top in Spain and so on.

If money was the only thing that mattered we would of won the title last year but that isn't the case. If Sven was managing Chelsea instead of Jose we wouldn't be on the top of the EPL summit.

The players play as a team, watch a game and watch every player track back and defend from the front, watch how they play for each other and for JM and watch the work ethic.

Rob, Mourinho wouldn't even have come to Chelsea if it weren't for the money. I mean, who'd want to go from an quadrouple-winning team to a wannabe club which hadn't won the league in 50 years and which had to sell off most of its assets just to stay afloat? The sale just highlighted how bad Chelsea's finances were.

The fact is - Arsenal always played better football (until this season, anyway), did better business and organised itself better than Chelsea could over the years. That's how it won more championships, attracted bigger crowds and bigger sponsors, a bigger reputation and thus, more earned money than Chelsea. Use your fucking logic. Don't accuse us, and certainly not me, of having tunnel vision - you're just as bad.

Oh, right, you said Arsenal play good football. Whoopdee fucking doo, that still doesn't make you unbiased.

Just accept it - you'd be nothing without Roman.
