this a tough bro if lehman comes in how would it turn out only god knows. almunia has been very good in both the times so i think theres no need of Lehman. but if it turns out well then good but again if we get unlucky??? lets say lehman gets injured then what??? Almunia will come in and obviously have something in the back of his head about being neglected after his recent performances. then we have squillaci at cb again.

does anyone have any information about vermaelen's injury???

Relax, do you really think Wenger is going to make a keeper who hasn't played since May last year his first choice? Plus we do need an extra keeper for the next 4-6 games because if anything happens to Almunia before Wojciech returns James Shea who couldn't even make the So'ton first eleven would be playing against Spurs, Manchester and even Liverpool. Besides everyone (Almunia aside) loves Mad Jens

Vermaelen said he won't make his return this month, probably won't play this season anyways.

hope we win the league this season and also hope Arsene doesnt get blinded by it and says "We are fine we just won the league so i find no reason to buy anyone".

One particular thing i am sure of is Fab is on his way to Barca unless they decide not to take him. Honestly i would cash in on him because he has been very very very poor by his standards and most importantly his heart is in Barca. And Nasri plays better through the middle behind the striker other than the wings.

Getting Lehmann is a temporary solution but could be an essential one. They have goalkeeper problems and especially with injuries now. I doubt Lehmann will play as well as he did during his time but he still could be very useful.

I start to get a feel that Arsene is not the one I should be blaming all the time. I guess he is not he is not happy here. He wanted to leave in the summer but did not. Now its absolutely clear that Arsenal board do not give a damn about the fans or winning trophies they just want plain business. Profits nothing more.

Team Captain
Arsenal lack seniors that the young players can turn to when in difficulty. Arsenal has been dead since the departure of Vieira, Henry, Ljunberg, Pires etc. Arsenal youngsters do not have any mentors. They don't have any player to follow as role model. They're just on their own. Thats the problem. Arsene is great but you gotta have some senior players too. Doesn't make sense when your most experienced players are 23 and 27 (Fabregas and Van Persie).

I'm pretty sure Arsenal would've done much better with at least 1 of the senior players left. Even Campbell. Or Cygan.

So, you were given a lifeline. Hell even the goal differential was easily doable. At this level, big teams don't get multiple chances......you've got to take the chance as soon as you get it. You got yours and somehow you managed to butcher it.

Reminds me of the saying: "Alan once chance and buggered it up" Thompson

What do you have to say for yourselves, Arsenal? What?

Further evidence that Fabregas is VERY over-rated. He's got a lot of learning to do. Learning that he can ONLY gain under Arsene Wenger.

He's not the finished product that Barcelona needs.

Well Fabregas is not overrated incase of quality but his performances have been very poor this season and is no captain material specially in the English game.

About Barca??? ask them to play in the premiere league for one season you will certainly find them struggling. They got a game from At.Bilbao a physical team in La Liga who are no where near in physicality compared to the english teams. That is a reason also why players in the league struggle in national teams as they run out of gas and all bruised and battered. And also another point is other spanish teams pay too much respect to Barca and Real Madrid come out applauding their opponents where they should be disgraced. Flores the A.Madrid coach said after their game that Barca seduce u and its ofcourse true but if u leave the seduction part to the women the better for their own teams. Im not saying that they are not great or anything but u need to understand that there are different situations and different platforms and stages for an entertainer to perform.

but in the last 3 years, we won against Arsenal (twice), Man United and qualified against Chelsea after 2 draws.

I agree with poet, despite all their UCL success in the past few seasons, they will struggle and fail to do in the Prem. Messi is clearly a good player, but could he do it on a cold, wet, windy night in Stoke?

I pray none of you are too slow to catch the sarcasm

bro i know what u are saying but the champions league is a different platform the games are more open and someone has to do something to go forward. Last season Inter stopped barca the sameway that teams do in EPL almost every single game with ofcourse far superior and experienced defenders. I remember the game very well not a single Barca player managed to influence anything messi was lost after scoring 4 against Arsenal which are of course not a GREAT team and even worse with a few most influential players missing. Then the man u game it was clearly Sir Alex's tactical set up was non sense a rare case but true. about Chelsea well they dig their own graves most of the time but it may end this year.

AND IMPORTANT PART....... dont feel offended but u should blame your SAINT wannabe coach for last season. he spent non-sense and treated Eto'o with so much disrespect i cant even mention. HOW IN THE WORLD U SELL one of the best strikers in the world FOR A DISGRACEFUL player though full of quality. Atleast it should have been graceful if Barca sold him not in a PART EXCHANGE DEAL who has scored for u in TWO champions league finals. These sort of Treatments only comeback and haunt nothing more. Same goes for all the big teams including Arsenal and Real Madrid two teams i support. but i support Real Madrid with this pride at least that they are arrogant and they show it and dont pretend to be a saint. Theres no sanity in the world let alone football but u should have the balls to admit it.

He IS! He can't carry the team the way Henry did. He can't lead the team like Patrick Viera. I only notice him when he's complaining to the referee.

Agreed. They wouldn't be able to do SH*T in the EPL!

Help?

Its a valid point, Barcelona likes to pass the ball around a lot, which invites lots of challenges (see Arsenal and their injuries). When you play any of the big teams they will try to beat you by actually playing football, whereas if you play a lower team like WBA, Wolves, Stoke they will simply kick the players till they can't walk so a passing game like that won't work (or work for a first few games until half your team is injured) and Barcelona is not a team with a plan B.

But who knows, maybe Barcelona would dominate England just as easily.
