They gotten past England's finest since 2009, why won't they be able to do the same against the rest of the bunch?

If Barcelona was to play in the EPL, then would have to play against:
Chelsea (2 games)
Manchester United (2 games)
Arsenal (2 games)
Tottenham (2 games)
Manchester City (2 games)
TOTAL = 10 games = 30 points

They would be lucky to win 5 of those games.

Sorry, but in the English Premier League (the CL is NOT a League), Barcelona wouldn't be doing sh*t. Messi and Iniesta would be rolling around on the floor for most of the game.

Can you guys honestly believe that? I mean, there is a grand total of TWO teams than can win La Liga.......TWO! All the other teams are worthless!

They have quality players in abundance with coaches who r bull**** absolutely bull****. u guys judge it in a logical and calm manner and u will findout by urself. i am not saying EPL is the best but the spanish league isnt.

Thiago Alcantara is almost as good as Carlos Wilshere. The fact that he doesn't have his place in this Barcelona team, doesn't mean he is not at Wilshere's level. I'm sure you haven't watched a singe match of him.

btw, congrats Villareal for beating Napoli, and Bayer Leverkusen and advancing through in Europa League.

Those Guardiola comments were most likely misinterpreted. It really is of no use speculating how well they'll do in the EPL, they never will so all argument of whether they'll perform on a cold windy night in Stoke is of no use.

They play in La Liga and that's the only league competition that they should be concerned about. About EPL v La Liga the argument on how good the league is should center around the best teams not the worst (and even still they appeal to different audiences).

Thank you, now let's talk about Arsenal FC and there is a chance that after Almunia's brilliant performance reminiscent of Gordon Banks v Brazil in 1970, he could lose his place to Jens (two weeks should be enough to recover fitness, should he play in reserve games).

OK Thiago yes i have watched him an exceptional talent and he is a son of a brazilian world cup winner. Your statement above the Villareal one there shows ur weakness. When we won that home leg match then hundreds of millions of Barca fans screaming FABREGAS??? no we want Carlos WILSHERE.

I'm not dissing Barcelona. I think it's obviously true that Wilshere wouldn't be playing much for Barcelona. But it was a Calender year, not a true season. It's impressive, but not as impressive. Same difference as the "Tiger Slam" and the "Grand Slam"

I never said we were so dominant. I just noted that we don't need to come to the EPL to do ****, as Liverpool are already taking care of it.

Again, dominance is about form, and today, not about history. Obviously you can pretend you're a dominant team, because you have a great history. Each to his own.

Care to proof how La Liga is "piss-poor"? You keep running your mouth about how Barca couldn't handle the Premier League. It's unneccessary, and idiotic, because we may never know. On the same principle I can go ahead shouting that Liverpool wouldn't make it in the "piss-poor" league in Spain, or even Segunda, and consider myself right as long as you prove otherwise, which we know is impossible. And I'm pretty sure you've lost to some of these "worthless" teams in the past few years.

As everyones talking about transfers and changes in the other team threads. There hasnt been many in our thread which is of course is nothing surprising.... but why not dream and fantasize a little bit. What changes would u like to see in the summer......???.....which players u want out and which u want in???

Transfer window doesn't open until June that's partly why there is little transfer speculation. I will probably have a players in each pos. on my wishlist plus a couple of promotions (Lansbury, Bartley, Ryodinho?), then out would be Almunia, Denilson maybe Tomas. I have a feeling Bendtner would be sold/loaned this summer, hope not but if does happen I hope the fee is good.

good wishlist. i guess Eden Hazard would arrive and its welcome. great talent and has his national team captain here so early signs are good. I hope he does to teams what his last name suggests not the opposite there are too many already. I would really love to have Fernando Llorente in exchange of bendtner with and some other useless garbage along with a few millions. An experienced quality goal keeper, Leighton Baines and Garry Cahill and a defensive, aggressive, big, experienced midfielder who can complete a simple pass and another big defender.
MOST IMPORTANTLY I DREAM OF A NEW MEDICAL STAFF: there has to be some serious problem. the unlucky injury thing has gone wayyyyy too far to be unlucky. injuries are a must every season but even TWO GOAL KEEPERS let alone center backs for god sake. what next Arsene Wenger injured???

LOL, I would like to see those teams play in La Liga, where passing space is not a luxery like it is in the EPL. The disparity between the top two teams and everyone else speaks to the quality of Madrid and Barcelona, it does not mean the other teams are weak.

Maybe.But I was not one of them. I just congratulated Arsenal for one of the best matches of this season in UCL and I said Arsenal has a very tealented and beautiful team.

I'm not one of the fans asking for a player after seeing him play a great match of even a good half of season.

I said Wilshere looks very promising, but still, as Cesc may be, he is not a finished product. And how could he be at 19? Maybe Pep was a bit harsh saying we have players like him in the Cantera, because beside Thiago I don't think there's a player of his quality there. But still, I don't know how many minutes would he play in this Barcelona team.
