That second goal Okoca linking up with Campo was sweeet :rockman:

Barely got to see Borgetti and no Nakata though...next game maybe.

Game definitely needed more Borguetti... ;)

Nice finish by Campo, cold-blooded.

Overall I was very impressed by the tactical side of this team, the errors from the first half where quickly fixed by the second, allowing the Hammers less space to move on.

Looking forward to the next game.

Check out Nakata and Borgetti warming up to enter against West

Ham: :rockman:

i was disappointed that we didn't see Nakata play at all and very little time for Borgetti.

i wanted the new bolton away shirt with "nakata" on the back, but it'd cost me about £54 :| which is an absolutely pathetically high price for a f'ucking shirt.

Oh yeah, he's really shattered that he's not playing in a team that plays unattractive route 1 football. Gee whiz, you really showed him yesterday, in fact he was terrible!

Fair play, Campo came on and changed the game - our lack of a proper striker really hurt us. But to say Benayoun is sorry for not joining you lot, let's face it, that's just sour grapes, because he's shaping up to be this year's Tim Cahill.

The win against West Ham was satisfying because I believe we showed we can play some excellent football, and not just lob it long to Davies (who has looked horrible lately). Okocha looked better than he has in a long time and the Campo goal was stunning to behold. Bolton have the capacity to run a good passing game, and they had it last year too. With Diouf in the center we play some great stuff. Benayoun probably just read what the rancid press has to say about us and our "one-dimensional" tactics. Benayoun has looked damn fine, and I think he could have had a big influence at the Reebok, bringing out the best in our team. I think he'll regret it. With Nakata, we may not need him though, and we'll definitely sell more merchandise :)

Big disappointment in the closing stages of the transfer window though. Pedersen has done a job at left back but he played two teams who didn't give him much trouble. A back-up central defender and two fullbacks would have been nice.

Yeah, Bolton did play more football than they have done in the past against West Ham - re: the Campo goal, we did only have about 2 defenders back and one of them was playing Campo onside by a long way (it was a good goal, no doubt, but beautiful?). Benayoun joined because Eyal Berkovic told him what sort of club we are, and to be honest, if you were to watch a 2004/05 Bolton Season Review, you'd see the midfield being bypassed time and again. Yossi won't regret coming to West Ham, he'll keep us up and become a LEGEND in the process - not only is his touch sublime, his vision superb, but he chases and harries and tackles as though his life depended on it.
