And all Erwin Koeman could say was:"the lads are feeling very down now and that's a good sign". I don't think we have to fear much from 010 this season :amika: and did you guys see AZ in their new Quick kits ugggly and cheap

@Steaua: Mitea hasn't stopped scoring since he came back from his injury and his form is indeed amazing at the moment. I hope that he will do just as great for Romania this season. The coach would be a fool not to invite him for national games and I think he will get lots of playingtime with Ajax.

Piturca has been criticized in the past for not bringing in Mitea but if he keeps playing like this he'll have no choice.

Good to see KJH scoring three times of course but the injury from Niki is casting a shadow over this win. 4-0 win cause this was the first time that Ajax came against a bit stronger opponent according to HTC.

I'm planning on eventually going to see an Ajax Home game in mid-November (before or after the Holland-England friendly)

what is the best & cheapest way to get a ticket ?

Last year there was often a free sell of tickets(no Club Card obligations) for matches against rather lower opponents. You could just buy a ticket at the stadium.
You will never get in to the top-matches though I think(PSV, Feyenoord and AZ). But I give you a good chance against clubs like Excelsior and stuff.

What's the capacity of the Stadium and appart from the "big 3" sellouts what the average crowd ?

Well here are the fixtures for november so pick one
Obviously PSV is a no go (sold out every time for cardholders and seasonticket holders) so the only possibillity to go to a homegame in november will be FC Twente. Not sure if you can get tickets for that but it's worth to try.


05/11 - Heracles Almelo - Ajax
12/11 - Ajax - PSV
19/11 - Ajax - FC Twente
26/11 - Sparta - Ajax

The stadium capacity is 51.628 seats and the average crowd when Ajax is not playing the top 3 is about 48.000 people.
You can buy a shirt at the Ajax fanshop next to the stadium if you like and be sure to check out World of Ajax (museum) when your there and to drink a beer at 'soccerworld' this is a pub at the stadium and the owners are Frank and Ronald de Boer, Danny Blind and Aaron Winter

So the Italian verdict is out, there are rumours about Vieira and Ajax, I pretty much here them everyday, what do you guys think of Vieira in an Ajax shirt?

But no that won't happen mate. He's one of the best midfielders in the world, not only on footballing quality but also on salary.

Honestly, I don't see Vieira in Ajax shirt. He just does not fit to dutch game-style.

Don't agree with that, Vieira is an asset for any team but for now it's nothing but rumours. The board said Vieira is interested in joining Ajax for a year or two but then he wants to return to Juve when they are back in Seria A.
We'll see how it develops but I know that there are many more clubs interested in signing him.
