I heard that Roger Garcia was second in the list after Davids who won't coming to Ajax, so Ajax went for Roger Garcia from Villarreal...

Don't know if he's any good but he came highly recommended by Cruyff so I guess that says enough and he played for years with Barca so Gabri and Roger know eich other which is nice to adjust here
Too bad that Edgar decided not to come but that's football too I guess

Anyway Klaas has a contract until 2010 which will mean we will be able to enjoy more goals of him for the coming 2-3 years before he'll get sold to some big and fancy club.

The manager from Huntelaar is saying that all the rumours about transfers regarding Huntelaar are and I quote:"TOTAL NONSENSE"
Huntelaar is not going anywhere, Fiorentina said that they already signed a contract hahahahaha stupid Italians they just make me laugh
The manager says that Ajax will not pay 9m for a player that only will stay a half year!!
So that's that!

Van Basten told the media and press today that Huntelaar will be part of the team in 08 at the EC (seems normal) cause he is a great striker and he will only grow stronger and bigger he thinks.

Good he's a great talent
Did you guys see the pressconference featuring Henk Ten Cate?
Man I like what he said but let's see if it works that way, he said a few things.

1. We have a great well balanced new selection with talent, experience and great footballers.
2. Ajax needs to get the ball as soon as possible and play on the opponents half.
3. Play attractive football
4. He wants to bring Ajax back to the top where they belong and he thinks that's a normal thing for a club like Ajax.
5. Frank de Boer will be an intern in the technical staff and after his training he will remain a member of the staff.
6. Aaron Winter will also be a member of his staff and he expects to call on him very often.

Well a few things I heard Danny say at the beginning of last season so let's see if it works this time.

I watched some footage of the first training today and boy it's soooooooooo great to see Jaap Stam in an Ajax outfit
