Marco van Duin??? Who that??

Marco van Duin is a young keeper from Ajax 2... or maybe Jong Ajax. Looks like he's our 3rd keeper now that Vonk is gone.

The squad looks full of promise, can't wait for the new season! STAM!!!

Nah, Gentenaar is. Maarten is our main man, Vermeer second goalie and Gentenaar third.

VI.nl is reporting that Stanton Lewis is gonna be transferred to Ajax from Ajax' South-African satilite club Ajax Cape Town. He'll be the second player to be added from that club after Pienaar did the same a few years back.

Anyway our first one of the season today against JOS Watergraafsmeer, lot of players were allowed to play and we won with 1-5 (too bad about goal though)

2x Mitea
1x Huntelaar
1x Poepon
1x Charisteas

And the Hunter started as our captain, in the 2nd half it was Lindenbergh who took over but according to HTC this means nothing cause he is still not sure who will be the new captain. I say choose STAM, experience and power!

Anyway it was nice for KJH to be the captain today
Ogararu played as a rightback the whole game so it looks like he is a definite replacement for Trabelsi.
Roger and Gabri played well also but Mitea was absolute magnificent on the leftwing.

I think we shouldn't make him the captain. You know what happened to Raffie when he got the captains band.

Let Stam be it, for example.

Well it's official now: Stanton Lewis signs for Ajax. He won't play for the senior squad yet though he'll first play for Young Ajax.

What I like more is: Katwijk-Feyenoord 1-0

Have to agree with that one, losing with 1-0 against Katwijk is a fluke
And all Erwin Koeman could say was:"the lads are feeling very down now and that's a good sign". I don't think we have to fear much from 010 this season :amika: and did you guys see AZ in their new Quick kits ugggly and cheap

@Steaua: Mitea hasn't stopped scoring since he came back from his injury and his form is indeed amazing at the moment. I hope that he will do just as great for Romania this season. The coach would be a fool not to invite him for national games and I think he will get lots of playingtime with Ajax.
