Here's the argument.
ManU weren't the favourites to win last year's title, so what's changed about them this season to make them a better team?

Nothing!!!
Not a damn thing!!

Arsenal, when able to field their best eleven is still the best team in Britain. I put last years title loss to injuries, suspensions, and unusually poor performances by LpOOL and Newcastle against ManU.
I don't expect LPool and Newcastle to play half as badly against them as they did last season, and I don't expect ManU to win a tonne of penalties either.

Everyone knows Arsenal had unfortunate luck last season that gifted the title to ManU and this season is going to prove once and for all that they (MANU) have declined.
The pre-season doesn't fool me, because I saw many things that show weaknesses.
Keane should have been sent off in the first game.
There was a perfectly good goal disallowed against the Mexican team.
All three preseason opposition had the majority of play early and had lots of chances.
Wes Brown is injured.
Ole is a putz on the right wing, no matter what Sir Alex says
And once again, they have the age old problem of being a team with only two goalscorers.

Man Utd are my prediction to win the CL this year :( No matter what the arse fans say Man Utd are still the EPL's benchmark for me, and can cope with the CL demands as well as a championship, and for me I don't see how Arsenal can cope with the two competitions, as it showed it took its toll towards the season's end.

There's no doubting Arsenal were a cut above in the early part of the season, but you have to keep going for 38 games, and to be honest, it just seems that Man U just have the bottle for the fight. :(

Exactly, that's my point. Thanks for making it....

Arsenal got the centeback and GK they needed to get. That's whats changed, also a new left back.

Lack of depth in the CB spot is pretty much what cost Arsenal the league. Kolo can play CB if he's needed there too.

Now Arsenal have more depth, they can win the league. A class keeper, 2 good backup keepers. Lauren, Volz and Toure can play on the right. Sol, Keown, Senderos (Legend in the making), Gilberto, Halls and Cygan can play in the centerback roll. Cole, and Clichy can play on the left. The midfield is stocked, Freddie, Paddy, GVB, Gilberto, JP, Ray, Edu, Wiltord, ect....

We have Henry and Bergkamp, then like 5 or 6 other forwards. Like Jeffers, Kanu, Wiltord, Jermie, and some young guys.

Arsenal will not be beaten like others think, they very well may take the league.

on the other hand they have Silvestre, O'Shea, Ferdinand, and P. Neville.

That back 4 is just scaring the living daylights out of me!!!!!

If Freddie is 100% vs. Man Utd, we'll beat them.

Awhile ago on Arsenal.com i saw a story "Freddie gives Man Utd Nightmares", after reading it, it made me think that way.

He was banged up and sick most of last year.

one more thing, if I were a Juventus supporter I'd think ManU are the greatest team ever assembled, lol..

how much in player $$$$ value do you guys suppose is there in that pic?

maybe 150mill pounds?

well, anti... i'm sure that the main challenge will be from ur beloved arsenal again that is for sure, i've watch us (Liverpool) played during the last few pre season matches and to be frank we don't seem to make any improvement at all even with kewell in the team, but having said that the boy just played around 3 matches with the team,.. but i still rate man u very highly even without beckham in the team, and remember last year beckham didn't do much for the team and yet they managed to regain back the title from arsenal... so beware of the man u goal machine... goash.. did i really said all those crap...

Man U play better without Beckham, they seem more like a team instead of a 1 man professional.

Beckham is very much a team player because he cant dribble just kick the ball to other players.

Arsenal will win the EPL because our squad is just better when we are playing our best we are better than anyone including United.

I wouldnt really care if Arsenal didnt win the EPL because this season we will show off some of our youth which will bring us alot more success long term and unlike alot of United Supporters im in it for the long term
