1000th post (reason why ManU will be Arse-whipped)

Team Captain
is no Beckham also the reason why United have won 4-0, 3-1, and 4-1 against world class teams?

oh God, I'm starting to sound like a Man Utd fan :(

It'll be the reason why we don't win the Champs league. However, I don't think Arsenal have done enough buying to challenge us next season.

Ahh you cant say that especially since we cant predict the future. Just let the teams do the talking when they start the season on August 16th. We'll see who wins what and who wont win what.

The season is almost started and we all got soft during the off-season, understandably so. Everyone became mates again, we praised opposing players , but its just a week again, so I am off of that crap.

Let's be honest, the Forum is at it's best when the moderators actually have work to do, parting fights that breakout between the Arsenal, Manu, Liverpool and Newcastle supporters.
And let's not forget the Turkey and Portugal Leagues' fans who are probably more passionate.

All in all congratulations for ManU on their victory last season, but no more mates for me.

THE ARSENAL FOREVER!!!

The fear is building in me with the addition of Bellion, Howard and Djembax2.

If those three play more than 38 games combined in the league I'll eat a ManU shirt and record it for you.

howard:i think a disease which makes him swear violently
djemba-djemba: who heard of him before manu bought him?
kleberson: fair play :p

Of all those recent signings, i think that in this season the best one will be Howard. I dont know about Djemba-Djemba, never heard of him before, Bellion could be useful, and Kleberson, could turn out to be a big mistake. That's if he performs like he was in the Brazilian League. I would like to see Arsenal giving Man Utd a beating, but i dont know, they didnt make much more signings, and i think their defense was 10 times more classy than it is now...

are you kidding me ? not only will ManU win the championship next season, they are going to steamroll the opposition and effectively wrap things up pretty early

trust me.

Arsenal lack ideas. the champions league proved that.

and to top that, the squad which wasn't good enough for last season is pretty much the same as no ig signings seem imminent.

bottomline - Its not going to be Arsenal who could cause ManU trouble... i fancy Newcastle to give stiffer competition to ManU, but not enough to make them sweat too much.

If you were talking to me, i agree, im not saying that Arsenal will beat Man Utd this season nor that Man Utd wont win the Premiership, i think they will, i hope they dont. Im just saying that even as favourites, i just dont think any of the new signings they made are special or something like that. But i dont think its going to be so easy as you say, i think Newcastle will give Man Utd a run for their money, and if Chelsea can play well as a team, i think they could complicate things even more for United. But unfortunately, i still think that they're favourites this year.

Ha, no reply to that. People seem to respect it more coming from someone who isn't a man utd fan.

I don't see Arsenal as such a threat anymore to Man U. Maybe they'll prove me wrong though.

Newcastle will definetly be giving Man U trouble in the title race. If Chelsea can gel as a team before the season starts, or even at the beggining of the season, there also going to be a threat.
