The season is almost started and we all got soft during the off-season, understandably so. Everyone became mates again, we praised opposing players , but its just a week again, so I am off of that crap.
Let's be honest, the Forum is at it's best when the moderators actually have work to do, parting fights that breakout between the Arsenal, Manu, Liverpool and Newcastle supporters.
And let's not forget the Turkey and Portugal Leagues' fans who are probably more passionate.
All in all congratulations for ManU on their victory last season, but no more mates for me.
THE ARSENAL FOREVER!!!
i think id prefer to be a arsenal fan than manu, but im a newcastle supporter!Originally posted by atsuneedssomehe
ARSEanal going DOWN
manu is feeling even more united without becks and with bellion,howard,djemba-djemba,kleberson and maybe puyol we will kick ure arse
Ha, no reply to that. People seem to respect it more coming from someone who isn't a man utd fan.Originally posted by IceBlu
are you kidding me ? not only will ManU win the championship next season, they are going to steamroll the opposition and effectively wrap things up pretty early
trust me.
Arsenal lack ideas. the champions league proved that.
and to top that, the squad which wasn't good enough for last season is pretty much the same as no ig signings seem imminent.
bottomline - Its not going to be Arsenal who could cause ManU trouble... i fancy Newcastle to give stiffer competition to ManU, but not enough to make them sweat too much.

If you were talking to me, i agree, im not saying that Arsenal will beat Man Utd this season nor that Man Utd wont win the Premiership, i think they will, i hope they dont. Im just saying that even as favourites, i just dont think any of the new signings they made are special or something like that. But i dont think its going to be so easy as you say, i think Newcastle will give Man Utd a run for their money, and if Chelsea can play well as a team, i think they could complicate things even more for United. But unfortunately, i still think that they're favourites this year.
