I will try to help people added boots to their game. It's not a difficult process but let get to it.
First of all you will need random boots file ready to go. Like boots I share there for example.
In this first screenshot, I have the Nike Phantom GX 2 Grey. You can see the boot textures and miniature. This is the boots I want to add into my game ( or into FIP Boot manager if you prefer)
1- Have a boot textures

My method is all about replacement. You have new boots you replaced them with already existent boots. They're all from 2018-2020 boots. So most of them are unusable nowadays (by players) and useless (for me).
2- Go to FIFA 16 > fip > boots >preview
Select a random boot there. Take a close look at the screenshot, I selected the shoe_1240.
I choose this specically because it's NIKE phantom boots but from 2020's.

3- Copy the "shoe_1240 from the boot miniature you select and put it in front of the boot name you want to add.
Look the name of mine in this screen :

- shoe_1240.rx3 is about the model of the boots ( like we call mesh in eafc24)
- shoe_1240_0_textures.rx3 is the texture, coeff, normal combined.
4- after renamed it, copy these 2 files and drop them into your FIFA 16 > data > sceneassetts > shoe.

5 - Rename the miniature boot too the copy it, in FIFA 16 > fip > boots > preview.
In order to find it in your FIP BOOTS MANAGER SOFTWARE.

6- NOW IT'S DONE.
Open fip boot manager, assign the boot in any player you want.
