em, that kind of sucks. if they were to make it to the CL, they should go through all three rounds of pre-qualification. taking someone elses spot just like that isnt exactly a good move. if it was the FA's decision, to take one of the english teams out, to put Pool in, ok, even though i dont approve of it, the FA can decide so, but this is a whole other country thats going to get screwed.

Yeah, I think we should qualify for it, maybe enter the third qualifying round... I dunno... what if some team from a country with 3 places won, and they didn't get top three in the league, where would they be entered?

There should just be a rule put in place that says that the champion should automatically be allowed to defend their trophy, meaning they should be put straight in the groups w/o qualification, no matter what place they finish in their domestic league. I think it would be absolutely proposterous if Liverpool won't be given the chance to defend their win.

I guess there is a place for the champions IF the champions aren't from England, Spain, Italy (that is.. if Porto win and come 10th in their league they'd be in)... Liverpool could take that place...
