We have just offered Hamann a new contract, with improved terms. Personally I want him to retire with us, so here's hoping he'll stay. Not as first choice but as backup and as an example to the younger lads, he's priceless.

That will be up to Benitez. Baros is a hard worker but hasn' t scored as many as he should. Plus he' s been complaining a lot over the last few months. I think its just hard for Benitez to fit him in. But nothing' s finalised yet......
