FIFA Manager 2025 - Released!

FIFA Manager 2024 came out on February 12, 2024.
Is there a chance that the 2025 version will come out by the end of February 2025?

It's much harder this year.
A lot of changes in competitions worldwide, it took a lot of time to implement them.
- New UEFA competitions format with League Phase (the game has no any kind of competition format like this, so we needed to program it)
- New AFC competitions format with League Phase in AFC CL Elite, West/East distribution and dependency on AFC club competitions ranking
- Dependency on 5-year associations ranking in CAF competitions
- New FIFA World Club Cup format where winners of Champions League of previous years take part.
- And a lot of small changes in other competitions...

Even though is several years I improved Romanian football to top 5, the amount of money for qualifying to Champions League groups remained the same.
Can you please change that situation? Because normally it should be equal for all the countries.

The new payments system in UEFA competitions will be implemented in new patch (including European/Non-European coefficient-based payments).
We also implement a new Parameter File where the ranking of national media markets is defined. It's kinda a replacement of old "Marketing pool" ranking.

And in the 2025 version, what will the distribution of places in UEFA competitions look like according to the UEFA ranking?

I know that the absence of Russia complicates things greatly, but will there continue to be situations, for example, where a country from the 15th place has only 3 clubs instead of 5?

Some other updates on patch progress:

Some improvements to season transition screens (work in progress):
- Now tournament winners are displayed differently for each continent (for example for UEFA, winners of CL, EL, Conference League and Super Cup are displayed, for OFC - only winners of CL and FIFA Club World Cup)
- Participants of continental competitions are now displayed accordingly to associations ranking for AFC and CAF.


New format of U20 Copa Libertadores:
- Champions of national youth leagues will be added into competition, if such leagues are available in the game
- Now the competition is hosted in one country
- 2 teams form host country are added into competition.


Host countries are now selected for all intercontinental competitions, and for some continental ones.
- For example, for Leagues Cup the host is selected between USA, Canada and Mexico.


It's now possible to create subfolders in data\assets folder
- Names of folders and number of nested subfolders are not fixed, you can create any subfolders you want

Another question: is it realistic to solve the problem that players with level 80 and more cannot be rented out? Maybe some script needs to be changed?

Another question - is there any way to add the ability to recall players from the lease as before? There is an option in the editor, but even when you enable it, it doesn't work.

I'd say it's almost complete. Out testing team is currently doing its job.
I won't give any release date because we didn't select any yet.

Yes it's possible but it will cause a lot of problems in the game. There might be a situation when a club loans 90-rated player for example. The game written in that way that it doesn't expect that you can loan a player with 80+ level.

No idea how this option works. Did it work in original game?

FIFA Manager 2025 is a patch which brings 2024/2025 squads, tournaments and graphics into FIFA Manager 13 (14). It also fixes a lot of errors and crashes in original game.

The patch is currently in development. Please note that with every year the development team decreases, thus the work takes more and more time and effort.

Some updates on patch progress:

"Results" tab is now available for all new competition types


Former opponents screen now works for Conference League and properly displays League Phase matches


Now there's an option to enable and disable music play in background.
Works only in Windowed mode.
It's enabled by default.


New option added "I'm using a touchpad"
When enabled, it will be possible to scroll with touchpad.
Disabled by default.


The famous FIFA Manager bug, when after several years in the game the staff disappeared or lost level to 0, has finally been fixed!
At least, it was found and fixed a mistake in the game code, which led to the described problems.So far there is no certainty that the bug is fixed 100%. Perhaps there are other mistakes in the game, somehow related to this bug. Whether it is or not, will be clear in the future, after a large number of players will play the game with this fix included.

Hi. I'm playing the previous version of Fifa Manager. I want to change a couple of things in the game.
1. Allow more than 7 players in the substitutes list. I'm able to make 5 substitutes but not take more than 7 subs right now.
2. Allow my reserve team to be promoted to the main team level. Ex: Barca is in LaLiga and I use Barca reserves to train young talent. If Barca reserves top Spain's second division, they should be allowed to be in LaLiga along with Barca.

Could anyone let me know if this is achievable by changing some Parameter files or anything like that. Thanks in advance.
