FIFA 17 mods (goal, grass, gameplay)

there were 2 huge modding problems for fifa 17. ball size and goal nets depths.

- you've removed baseframe of nets, so you already solved the problem about goal nets depths. baseframes location was always stable and cant be changed (i couldn't solve that problem because of importing mesh files)

- ball size is another huge problem that i couldnt fix either. the only solution i found is reducing heights of players with excel table. (i reduced all players' height like 15cm)

otherwise, fifa 17 is really good game to play but these two problems i mentioned above ,which couldnt never be solved, caused me never give fifa 17 a chance

can you seperate the mods as .fbmod by .fbmod? i only want to try baseframe and in game visual mods.
 
I can't get the goal nets like the ones you see in your images, what am I doing wrong?

I loaded your mod yesterday and the GP plays very good. A little bit slower and the movements seems to feel a little bit heavier than default. Even the ball feels heavier in his movement after leaving my Players foots. And you increased the Player and or the worlds LOD´s, right?
It´s easy to see in pre match when the Players enter the pitch and the cam is close to their faces. ;-)
I leave some Screenshots below from my Game with your mod. You can see also in the screenshots I made the goalnets deeper which is made through DB edits. This DB goalnet edit stops after FIFA 19. From FIFA 20 it is still possible of course but not by only editing the Stadiums Table in DB Master.
I will upload what I have for FIFA 17 later that day here. I have made some little mods by myself. Like some TV Logos for EPL and the generic overlay_9105 as well. And I edit some League Logos to real ones like the 2 Italian League Logos, UCL, UEL. I forgot which else more. :-)

It´s just sad there so less Mods created in the past for the Game. Frosty Tools arrived late in 2017, so the Game hadn´t much chances to grow and be reminded in the present. But imo it hav one of the best Gameplays from all Frostbite Games the last years. Speaking of course from default Gameplay without a Mod!
 
Have anybody fifa 22 and fifa 17? A few years ago I had tool to convert fifa 22/16 squads database to fifa 15. I wonder if face/head ids are the same in fifa 22 and fifa 17.If so it would be probably possible to convert fifa 16 fip 8 to fifa 17.

what´s happening with the tool? You lost it? I have both Games.

I have but it converts only fifa 22 and fifa 16 database to fifa15. There is none mode to convert to fifa17. Some mapping is needed between fifas, for example hair id, face id, etc. These are the most problematic areas because there are tens of faces and hairs. In my case I reused some work of other guy who was looking at hair and faces and tried to match it to fifa16 faces and place his findings into some excell. Then I took it and place into code of the tool. I remember that for asian faceid there was random draw because it was hard to match face from fifa 22 to face from fifa 15/16.:)

And how new mapping could be done? We check face by face in fifa 17 and do printscreen of each face and save it to file face_id.jpg. The same with each hair. Then we open fifa 16 fip 8 on creation master and try to choose the best face, hair which corresponds to fifa 17 one. In this way we are creating mapping of ids.
 
I remember also some mapping for formation needed to be done, also for player styles, it is in general huge work to try to reflect everything from one fifa like fifa 16 fip into another fifa version.

With more hairs and faces you mean more real faces in 22 compared to 17?
 
Generic hair and faces. This is another issue that gavi, pedri, yamal and any new players wont have custom head if conversion would be done.
There is a workaround but its not perfect of course, if you add the player id into “create player table” you could edit the faces in main game, but this is so slowly :(
