devastating from many points of view. Not only sports and for the city of Turin but also for Italy as a whole. I read a sociology thesis found on the internet some time ago about the Grande Torino. That team was basically the most loved in Italy. We are in the post-war period and in that team Italy saw a hope for recovery, a way to not think about the problems that were still many, something to hold on to to say that we also count for something. In an Italy that was broken and in need of reconstruction, with a newborn Republic still to be run in, that team was like a point of reference for how things were done in Italy. Strength, character, dynamism, willpower. They were all values belonging to that team that Italians hoped to see in the newborn Italian Republic. The shock of the disappearance took away a big point of reference for the whole country of Italy. It was a period in which to dream you clung to everything. To football, to cycling with Coppi and Bartali, to car races with Ascari. Then, sportingly speaking, perhaps we could have also won the 1950 Rimet Cup... Three Rimet Cups in a row...

I just paused. Even if you pass me the files I won't add them because I don't feel like working on them. When I feel like it I'll resume. I remember that it's not an important project but done in my spare time.
