Quick Team Creator

This sounds like just the thing I'm looking for... Something to make my 100% fictional FIFA rosters with, and something to make it a little easier with than the manual (and tedious) process of creating each player one at a time with CM10 for FIFA 10.

Now that CM11 beta 6.0 has been relesed, I am going to continute with this program.

Here is a recap of the main features of this program:
-Easy to add player names and numbers.
-Ability to randomize names and numbers.
-Players attributes are randomized based on a users value.
-Players appearances are randomized, user can specify aproximate ethnic ratio of the players.
-Creates generic graphics for team.
-Exports as CMP.
-More specific edits can be done in CM11 (eg importing real kits).

The main purpose of the program is to create teams, where the accurate appearance and rating of the players is not important. This makes it ideal for creating teams in lower divisions.

Good progress is being made. It will take about another week to complete and at least another to test.

I have had some success, a team generated by the program has been imported into the game and played in a match without crashing. There are still a few minor bugs to fix and improvements to make before release.

-Does CM11 have a bug with importing kits from CMP? [Edit - Rinaldo has confirmed this bug, will be fixed in beta 6.2)
-Does anyone know what algorithm Rinaldo uses to calculate the hashid in the language table?

I will post some screenshots over the next few days.

Good job, great to hear from this project again! (Y)
Looking foward to the screenshots...

Btw, I heard that kits get saved in .cmp, but somehow don't get imported. Haven't checked that by myself though.

Thanks. I needed to know if the kit import bug was my program or CM11, I will wait for CM11 beta 6.2 to test kit imports.

Here is a screenshot of the updated interface.

This screenshot shows the roster tab in CM11 of an imported team. The average player rating used was 30.

There is also an option to import a list of players. For example, you could copy the squad list of a team from a site such as Wikipedia into a program like Excel and rearange the information to give numbers in one column and names in the next. This could then be copied and pasted into the program.

very nice bro.

my suggestion to you is to create id conversion tool for leagues, teams, players & tournaments to allow for all created leagues to coexist in one game since editors refuse to make patches w/ compatible ids.

Thanks.

The ID conversion tool could be quite a large project. If this is based on CMS, there could be problems with player IDs if a team's roster is greater than 25. Ideally, the simplest solution would be if it where possible for Rinaldo to add the possibility to specify IDs in the CM11 patch import window. I don't think I will take on the project, but I am willing to discuss how it might be done.

I plan to make this tool comply with CMS. Player IDs are allocated based on CMS for FIFA10, also the reason why I limited the number of players to 25. I will update if Rinaldo changes CMS for FIFA 11.

Since the kit import bug has been fixed in CM11, QTC functions near perfectly. The only known major bug is that not all of the team name strings are imported (although this can be fixed manually in about 10 seconds). Some improvements still need to be made.

For testing purposes, would anyone like to request a team? I will then upload the CMP and post an ingame screenshot.

Maybe do some lower league team which is not yet in the game.

Something exotic would be cool, too (e.g. Japanese 3rd League team?). :-)

scouser09, i wolud like to ask for two teams of a the 2nd division of Bolivia (Nacional B)
The Team names are "Independiente de Chuquisaca" and "Universitario de Potosí. All latin.
Thanks in advance. Of course i will post images ingame of the result for you. (or what you ask in return)
Greetings from Bolivia. :D:D

Sonyy47: I made Kuban Krasnodar, however there where a few minor bugs so I will remake this team soon. Remember that the graphics will be generic.

foxmulderx: I will make those two clubs if you can give me some links and/or information about the clubs, I can not find any information on either.

For the Universitario de Potosí colors you can use red shirt and white short for the Home kit and full Blue for shirt and short whit red socks in the away kit.

Thanks man for your time, and i understand this is only for testing purposes, so thanks for that.

To make Kuban Krasnodar, I got the squad list from Wikipedia and pasted and rearanged the data in Excel. I then copied this into the QTC like this:

Here are some screenshots of the team ingame.

You can see in the screenshots the generic graphics added to each team, you can choose between 8 different colours. Also note the randomized player appearances and boots. All kits added by the program use the shown template.

Kuban Krasnodar CMP
http://www.mediafire.com/?z6r3ztd1hoht2o6

Instructions:
-Backup your databases
-Import with CM11
-Add team to a league
-Fix the team name strings (for me some are blank)

Note: the above CMP is what was generated by QTC, not CM11.

All players where generated as caucasian and with russian nationality. I decided that it would make sense to manually correct the african players if I was making this team properly.

If anyone wants to update this team by correcting any of the players and/or adding real graphics, please do so and then upload.

foxmulderx: Thanks, I will have to use generic names though. Also, kits will be one colour, you can fix this by importing real kits if you make some.
