Though he was quite poor against Liverpool on Saturday, I remember him giving away some balls in a similar way to the one that caused the Kolarov goal a couple of weeks ago.

Yes I do agree that the new breed of wonderkids and superstars have caused the younger players to lose patience, not so long ago it was very much expected to come up through the reserves until the age of 18 or 19, then spend a year or two on loan, then get have a season of starting a few games and a few sub appearances before becoming a regular around the age of 23 or 24 if good enough, or being sold then if not.

Also, there is now such panic among the big clubs about missing out on hot talents that so many players are now signed up very young to the big clubs, rather than coming up through lower league clubs where they get more games or, in the case of South Americans or Africans, developing a bit at clubs outside Europe. However, the rivalries for titles and tournaments are so intense that there are now even less opportunities (easy opponents, less important games, games in the bag by 60 minutes) to throw these young players on - there are more of them at top clubs, and there is also less pitch time available.

All in all, Scholes will probably do more good than bad, but it's a quick fix solution, which is the part that's frustrating.

Pogba's EPL debut was great. I don't think he's ready for EPL action but he showed glimpses of his talent and should be given more chances as a sub or go on loan like Cleverley did. Scholes played very well too.

City lost and guess who scored: Darron Gibson out of everyone.

EDIT: Looks like Ravel Morrison signed for West Ham. What a dumb move from him. He was one of our hottest prospects together with Pogba.

Well, some teams play in pink all the time (Palermo) and I don't think that Juve away looks that bad TBH.

A bunch of Nike (and Adidas) kits have already leaked e.g the Barca one, which is almost as horrible. I'd like for it to be a fake but you can't really say it is just because it's early.
