yeah we have to get one point to even qualify for the last 16. We really need to buy a player. You cant let players like Paul Scholes go and have no back up.

I have to admit Carrick looked pretty good last night, but we have had no consistency in the middle or the back.

In spite my fear it wouldn't be the first time Fergie tinkered with the team, looking shaky for a season or two whilst new players get blooded. To then bounce back with the same players winning everything.

Yeah we never got good enough back up for Scholes nor Keane. Cleverley might have a bright future but it seems a bit naive to think that with him coming back things would change too much, especially now, after the injury. I also can't see us getting anyone in January who is good enoug and not cup-tied yet.

God how humiliating (and financially catastrophic) it would be to compete for the Europa cup with ****ty...

De Rossi could be great for your midfield. Keano good. Cleverly would shine beside him.

Fergie walked away from the post-match press conference after being asked about struggling in Europe. This means his pissed off, and if he's pissed of, we have two options for the Basel match - either we're gonna rape them or they're gonna rape us, no other type of intercourses possible when the man's pissed.

Just watched the goals. 2 very silly goals conceded. 1 own goal and 1 big defensive mistake from the GK. Was it De Gea or Lindegaard?

Blame a little of that on the defense, they did a poor job at recovering. The Benfica player walked in to the box from 40yds out unchallenged.

Mixed news: Rooney has been announced fit to play against Newcastle..... Anderson on the other hand is out till February with a knee-injury

great... is this year almost been as bad as the year we lost our entire back line. Hard to cope like this during fringe/cross over years.

around 7 players out I think.

Nice midfield, should sub Park in for Carrick so we'd have 4 wingers...jesus ****.

Oh for ****s sake, what a ******* piece of ****. If ****ty wins, we might as fell bid farewell to EPL and start concentrating on Europa league.

Our entire central midfield is injured except for Carrcik and Gibson (lol!) and even if we get over the injury crisis we'll have a bunch of midfielders who would have sit on the bench for us some years ago.

Did we play that badly? Thats the impression I got when I read the comments here. I did not watch the game. Just watched the highlights. Based on the number of chances, I think its a big improvement compared to our last games. We had some great chances and should have scored on a few occasions. That strike off the line or that lucky save from Vidic's header for example. Not to mention the controversial Newcastle pen.

Newcastle has been in great form this season and I thought we were gonna lose TBH based on our recent ****ty form.

At least today we'll get the chance to see something other than the lacklustre performances we have shown in the past 2 months. Fergie said he'll start a young side and could start Pogba. Starting Pogba would make sense since most of our CMs are out.

that Newcastle game is even more annoying after the city game. We should of closed the gap.

Finally a gif about the ghost tackle on Zeki, lol

Lindegaard starting ahead of De Gea, Jones as a midflieder and Rooney, Hernandez upfront.
How about a nice, comfortable 3-0 win for a change?

edit:
******* ****, what the **** is this? Hernandez already injured and subbed off for Valencia. I think this team should go to Holland to get euthanized...

Not watching the game, found out about Chicharito's injury through twitter. Lee's twitter. Senor Flukey-Goal-arito won't be able to decide this one.

EDIT: Ah ****, Lee's gonna be annoying in this one.

Fluke or not, but we can't even afford to lose Diouf at the moment, lol.

Jones with his first goal for United, btw.
