Commentary Call Names

Dear All

As there are a lot of Names to be transfered to FIfa 16, i decided to upload the german FIFA 23 Callnames to this folder: German FIFA 23 Callnames

They are in WAV format and i'm happy for everyone who is willing to help renaming and make them Ready for FIFA 16.

Therefore i made another Folder: FIFA 16 Callnames Here you find callnames in .sps Format ready to import via Creation Master Soundtool. To start with, you find MBappé :) I'll upload some more, as i find time.
Bro can u make fifa 16 mobile commentary just some names not all but some plz

You can find attached an mp3 "AI training sound" for Martin Tyler. If you have access to a Voice Clone AI, use this mp3 as a reference sound, type the name of the player you want to generate and download the generated sound, then rename the file as PlayerName_1.wav and import it with CM.
32 KHz is the recommended sampling frequency.

This may have some potential.
Played around a bit with Vocloner.com and generated some Names. They do sound quite good to me: English Callnames
Not that these are famous players, just some "NONAMES"

Hi!
Just wanted to share my "a little bit time consuming+tiring" method on obtaining/exporting commentary names from fifa games. I've made a Clive Tyldesley classic commentary patch for pes 6 and got some world cup 2014 newer callnames this way.
This was long before i knew how to export sbr/sbs files using foobar2000.

I would play friendly matches on PS4 Fifa 15 with chants and soundtrack muted and pass the ball/occasionally launching lob passes all the time.
Then capture the video via ps4 and then export the callnames manually in audacity. I should tell that converting files for pes 6 looks way more easier compared to adding names to .sbs structure.

I thought this can also be applied to Martin Tyler. Exporting fifa 20 callnames manually by basically playing the game on the easiest difficulty on ps4/ps5 and capturing videos, then converting to sound files. I also have a Martin Tyler project for the older pes games.

The thing is, the newest version i have access to is fifa 19 switch version which unfortunately doesnt include newer callnames like mbappe etc. I assume it was last updated for fifa 17 because there are tons of japanese names., and i'm also sure that martin tyler commentary got one last callname update in fifa 20 because i remember some turkish players having names called after 10+ years of appearence on fifa games. The problem is, ps4 era files cannot be exported/encrypted as far as i know. I managed to view fifa 19 switch because it had the ps3 .sbs/.sbr format sound files which are easily "readable"

Hey I am having some trouble. I get this error message when trying to open English Commentary: EN1 Neutral. Every other language including the other English commentary opens fine:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

The application must also be compiled with debugging

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Are you using a patched sbr or sbs file ? Because the default file should work.

Hi! I followed the steps from the opening post to try to add callnames to my RFS database but I am getting this error.
I did follow the steps that required opening the Programdata/RFS/DB folder, I selected the RFS-meta.xml then the RFS.DB and finally inside the game folder the eng_us.db.

Help with this error would be appreciated.

I open this thread for collecting tools and patches for extending Commentary Call Names.

For installing new call names you need to use CM16 3.1.06 or further
Latest version is CM16 3.1.08 (added support for Arabic commentaries)

How to install a call names pack on your current FIFA 16
  1. Unzip the pack in a folder of your choice, check if the files are in .sps or .wav format
  2. With CM 16 open FIFA 16 as usual
  3. Click button Audio
  4. In the “Patching” section of the page click “Open Sound File” and choose your commentary language.
  5. Click the “Import Sounds (.sps format)” button or the “Import Sounds (.wav format)” according to the format of the files. Please note that importing wav files is much slower.
  6. Browse and select the files you want to import, wait for the import operation to be completed
  7. Click the Save Audio File button for saving the patched audio files
  8. Click the menu File\Save for saving the database
Please be aware that the sound name must perfectly match the surname of the player or the common name if it is not empty, including capital letters, blank spaces and accented characters. The original database do ont support all the accented characters, in order to have the full accented characters available there is an operation you should do once with your database. This operation must be done BEFORE to import a call names pack.

How to have the FIFA DB supporting all accented characters
  • Download DB Master version 24.0 or further
  • Open the DB you want to edit
  • Select the menu "Tools\Save and Patch Player Names"
  • Save the DB
you need to make this operation with your DB only once, after that all the accented characters will be supported.

How to install a call names pack on RFS
RFS db is ready to support accented characters.
All the steps are the same as above with the only exception of step 2:
2a - In CM 16 click “File\Open - Select All”
2b - Select the main FIFA 16 folder
2c - Select the database xml and DB files located in <ProgramData>\RFS\Templates\data\db
2d - Select your language DB from your FIFA 16 folder

Please note that <ProgramData> could be hidden, if you cannot find it, you need to change file explorer settings and enable the visualization of hidden files

How to create a call names pack
  1. In the “Exploring” section of the Audio page of CM16, select the file where the sounds are located, then choose “Generic Names”
  2. Check the the call names you want to export
  3. Click “Export Sounds (.sps format)”. SPS format is recommended because size is smaller and they are faster to import
  4. Export in a folder of your choice
  5. Some of the sounds exported could be “silent” sounds when the call name is not really available, you can recognize them because the size is 128 bytes. Unfortunately Windows Explorer rounds up the size to 1k but at least they are sorted correctly so you can easily find the last shorter call name that is not a silent one (for example it could be Tah or Bah). It is important to remove these files or the user importing the patch could replace an existing sound with a silent one.
  6. Finally create a zip and share it in this thread
link for CM16 3.1.08 does not work
