lol so it's not easy as it was looking like. you guys were talking about extracting .wav files so I thought it would be easy.Callnames are stored by FIFA 16 in .sps format (not as .wav) they are packed in .sbs files that are described by a .sbr file, and both are archived in .big files.
The full process is quite complex, to add a new sound requires to encode the .wav into a .sps file, add the .sps file to an .sbs file, to create a reference to it in the corresponding .sbr file and, finally, modify the main database so that the sound is associated to players name. No way to make it simpler as far as I know.
Mate this is a fantastic projectDear All
As there are a lot of Names to be transfered to FIfa 16, i decided to upload the german FIFA 23 Callnames to this folder: German FIFA 23 Callnames
They are in WAV format and i'm happy for everyone who is willing to help renaming and make them Ready for FIFA 16.
Therefore i made another Folder: FIFA 16 Callnames Here you find callnames in .sps Format ready to import via Creation Master Soundtool. To start with, you find MBappéI'll upload some more, as i find time.
Have you tried importing to the german commentory?Mate this is a fantastic project
Please please continue
Unfortunately i didn’t have the time to Test it. But i will do as soon as i canHave you tried importing to the german commentory?
Do they work ingame? Only tested a few of them.
As I do not have much time, i do some renaming randomly. And basing on Fifa 23, some actual stars are missing.
Yes there is...And is there a reason why for some Players (for example dumfries) only one file?
Yes there is...
The one with_1 is a regular Name, if Fifa 23 has the Name shouted, there is also a file _0.
There are a lot of Players just with a regular name, but not with a name shouted with excitement by Buschior I did not find them or it has to be modified.
List of Fifa 23 Players with Soundfiles In this excel, there are two Tabs, one with the regular spoken names (SIMPLE), one with the shouted name (HIGH), all linked with the FIFA 23 Player ID.
Fifa 23, pPLAYER_NAMES_Simple, link and high all exports of corse portugues br. Posso compartilhar o inglês dele se quiserem.Unfortunately I do not have that version of FIFA so I cannot drive you exactly, but I can tell you how to find them in FC24 hoping that FIFA 20 is similar.
You should browse for sounds using the Data Explorer (on the left of the screen): they are in Sound\Speech\Commentary\eng_us\SoundWaves and then in the lower left part of the screen you will see the names of the various "groups sound", double click on those starting with pPLAYER_NAMES (all of them contain call names) then you will see on the right part of the screen a list of "sounds" that you can select and export as .wav... good luck.
Can u share the brazilian audios?Fifa 23, pPLAYER_NAMES_Simple, link and high all exports of corse portugues br. Posso compartilhar o inglês dele se quiserem.View attachment 167675
One thing I noticed is that to get the narration in some cases it is necessary to have or create 2 audios, for example Fabricio_0 and Fabricio_1, if you put just one, even if you listen to the audio in CM16 in the game, it simply doesn't work and creating a copy of _0 and creating _1 It works in the game.I open this thread for collecting tools and patches for extending Commentary Call Names.
For installing new call names you need to use CM16 3.1.06 or further
Latest version is CM16 3.1.08 (added support for Arabic commentaries)
How to install a call names pack on your current FIFA 16
Please be aware that the sound name must perfectly match the surname of the player or the common name if it is not empty, including capital letters, blank spaces and accented characters. The original database do ont support all the accented characters, in order to have the full accented characters available there is an operation you should do once with your database. This operation must be done BEFORE to import a call names pack.
- Unzip the pack in a folder of your choice, check if the files are in .sps or .wav format
- With CM 16 open FIFA 16 as usual
- Click button Audio
- In the “Patching” section of the page click “Open Sound File” and choose your commentary language.
- Click the “Import Sounds (.sps format)” button or the “Import Sounds (.wav format)” according to the format of the files. Please note that importing wav files is much slower.
- Browse and select the files you want to import, wait for the import operation to be completed
- Click the Save Audio File button for saving the patched audio files
- Click the menu File\Save for saving the database
How to have the FIFA DB supporting all accented characters
you need to make this operation with your DB only once, after that all the accented characters will be supported.
- Download DB Master version 24.0 or further
- Open the DB you want to edit
- Select the menu "Tools\Save and Patch Player Names"
- Save the DB
How to install a call names pack on RFS
RFS db is ready to support accented characters.
All the steps are the same as above with the only exception of step 2:
2a - In CM 16 click “File\Open - Select All”2b - Select the main FIFA 16 folder2c - Select the database xml and DB files located in <ProgramData>\RFS\Templates\data\db2d - Select your language DB from your FIFA 16 folder
Please note that <ProgramData> could be hidden, if you cannot find it, you need to change file explorer settings and enable the visualization of hidden files
How to create a call names pack
- In the “Exploring” section of the Audio page of CM16, select the file where the sounds are located, then choose “Generic Names”
- Check the the call names you want to export
- Click “Export Sounds (.sps format)”. SPS format is recommended because size is smaller and they are faster to import
- Export in a folder of your choice
- Some of the sounds exported could be “silent” sounds when the call name is not really available, you can recognize them because the size is 128 bytes. Unfortunately Windows Explorer rounds up the size to 1k but at least they are sorted correctly so you can easily find the last shorter call name that is not a silent one (for example it could be Tah or Bah). It is important to remove these files or the user importing the patch could replace an existing sound with a silent one.
- Finally create a zip and share it in this thread
