I wanted to start doing the 1989-90 First Division but I realized I didn't feel like it. I don't feel like making kits, I don't feel like doing research to create teams, I don't feel like anything... I'm terribly tired, mentally tired. I think I'll let June finish and evaluate next month. Sorry... but I'm really very tired.

Yes... but then the files pile up and it becomes hard to dispose of and manage them. I had made a summer plan based only on night work to avoid the strong heat (here we already have 41°C) But... I can't do it. I wanted to get rid of that championship that marks the completion of all the 90s championships, I have to do another session for the Serie A even if I can move it to September. and I wanted to start again with the Copa America. Instead... I opened the template to make a kit... and I realized that I didn't want to. It had been open for over an hour and I still hadn't done anything, I was doing something else... Clear symptom of when you don't want to work on it...

wait until you hear that FIFA is thinking of bringing it back for the only year without international football (2027/2031)...
Nah, it's UEFA's turn to come up with a way to mess up the calendar even further.
Couple of years ago, there were talks of expanding the Nations League to include South American teams as well, and that CONMEBOL was actually welcoming the idea. Wouldn't surprise me if they did it, and the knockout stage took up the only free summer left.

And that's not even my worst fear. I think at that point their next move would be to make the games 60 minutes long "to show care for players' health"🙄

club world cup? what is it? I think this sentence can summarize my whole thought. However, I read the posts on social media. Many say, I had foreseen this for months, that the European teams are tired, cooked, boiled and are at 60-70-80 seasonal games. Differently, the South American teams are in the thick of the season, which started in January. They have 30 games in their legs. This weighs. Many players are playing without any more strength and desire. Also consider that the new season starts in August. They will have a scant week of vacation before starting the preparation for the next season. I predict an increase in knee ligament ruptures for the next season. Tired and worn out players with fast preparations only cause damage. We have already seen this season just ended the impact after the European Championship. They play too much, they don't have time to recover, they train badly and they hurt themselves more. We need to play less. It's useless to earn 130 million for this tournament that then risks compromising the next season if the team suffers serious injuries. Look at Manchester City. After Rodri's injury the team went down. They lost millions of euros because of that single injury. I think that some European teams are also trying to get kicked out of the tournament quickly so as not to compromise the next season.
What doesn't shock me is that teams from leagues like: Brazilian, Egyptian, Japanese, American and Arab are equivalent to the 5 main European second divisions and the 5 main European mid-leagues (Portuguese, Turkish, Dutch, Scottish and Belgian), so it's not that impossible both in terms of salary costs and market values, etc. I remember that Anderlecht recently beat Barcelona, just as every now and then a second division team beats a first division team (it happens rarely, but it does happen). Real Madrid itself, in basketball, technically the team is equivalent to a Gleague team (second division), won the NBA champion Dallas Mavericks (although NBA teams win most games against European teams). Just as Lusano (the team from the highest budgeted league in Europe) beat the Philadelphia Flyers in 2022 ,

A world league format with several divisions is much more interesting, especially for weaker nations, in terms of sport, to play against others of a similar level, as already happens in ice hockey. Apart from South and North America, the other continents would be very interesting. It would be easy to have 3 world divisions with 20 teams and a fourth regionalized division.

I add a small note, not relevant to the previous discussion.

There is a difference in the impact of a team in a tournament like the Club World Cup and the Nations World Cup. Both for the participants and for those who watch on TV.

The Nations World Cup for each team has the best of its players who play in about ten different teams that have had different seasons. There are those who have played in the cups and those who have not.. The tiredness or any injuries are divided between several teams generating a minimal impact on the same teams. If I have only 1 tired or injured player I temporarily replace him with his reserve that I have in the team or that I buy if he has suffered a serious injury.

The Club World Cup being for clubs you only have players from one club. No division between other clubs. This means that my players are all tired and at risk of injury and if I have injured players I have to replace them with tired players.... in this way you are seriously compromising your season.

The World Cup for Nations is followed by the whole nation, there is no division between the fans

The World Cup for Clubs is played by clubs that you may not be interested in or that are hanging on your scrotum. I support Cagliari, why am I interested in Inter and Juventus? Why should I watch their games?

It seems obvious to me that the tournament cannot have the same media appeal as a World Cup for Nations. and this is what FIFA would like instead...
about the players, they have to choose whether they prefer to play for the national team or for the club, which would end up opening more spaces for mainly national team players who end up being left out due to the high competition. About the calendar, this was a downside of the growth of the national leagues, in rugby for example, as the national leagues did not grow that much, you have many more national team games (which is much more interesting on a global level than games between clubs). So if you prefer clubs, you can only watch the national league games and otherwise, you can only watch national team games.

Hi Giggi, why isn't Boniek at Widzew Łódź 1980-1985? I thought he was the club's most important player at that time. The only explanation for his absence is that you want to create a Widzew for each year in that period in the future, include that player (he played for that club from 1975 to 1982) and eliminate the Widzew 1980-1985

Klopp also thinks exactly like me. The exact same words I wrote a few days ago...

"In the end, it's all about the game and not the surrounding aspects - and that's why the Club World Cup is the worst idea ever implemented in football in this regard,"

He added: "Last year we had the Copa America and European Championship, this year the Club World Cup and next year then the World Cup.

"This means no real recovery for the players who are there, neither physically nor mentally.

Stejskal Jan

guys... don't take everything I'll do in the next few days as gospel. Since I'm very tired I'll surely do half-screws. But you know well that then I always go back to fix as soon as I have a sudden enlightenment... So don't expect great things. The problem is that if I stop completely I risk not starting again XD after all I'm an old engine of almost 42 years... I have a lot of Km traveled XD

Absolutely right with you Giggi.
But now we leave in very materialistic world.
And money for many corporations, many business and many people is most important.
Unfortunately true football and health of footballers is not important.

When Legendary polish coach Janusz Wójcik in 1994 year leaves from Legia Waraw for another team from Saudi Arabia.
He saying true and legendary words in polish football world: "Kasa misiu, kasa" (Money, my teddy bear. Money.)

Regarding the Club World Cup, the reality is that most European clubs do not take good care of their players. Alexandre Pato was signed by Corinthians in 2013 and had a history of injuries. After returning to Brazil, he stopped suffering injuries. The same thing is happening today with Memphis Depay. He is at Corinthians and his history of injuries has disappeared. If European clubs took better care of their expensive players, they would not complain about playing 60 games per season. For comparison purposes, Palmeiras played more games than any other European team from June 24 to June 25. Last year, Botafogo played games after games at the end of the year and played in the Intercontinental Cup final. Europe's complaints are unjustified.

but Memphis would most likely have had a similar result if they were playing in a league 1 level lower than the Dutch league and the top 5 European second divisions. I remember several average PL players when they played in the English second division were dominant like Marc-Andre Fortuné, Darius Vassel, Taarabat, Kevin Nolan and others. In fact, the problem is the Brazilian clubs, which, if they had a professional administration since the 70s, with the gigantic domestic market they have, should have become the main world league. Most likely, if the NASL had not gone bankrupt and the interest in soccer was much greater in the US, they would easily have had the strongest league in the world, even more so in the 80s when the main European clubs did not have the investment they have today.

Good night, guys. I downloaded all the files, but now I don't know how to install it. Is there a guide, a video, or something written step-by-step that can guide me through installing the mod without breaking the game? This is my first time installing mods in FIFA. I created the account just to ask this. I don't even speak English; I speak Spanish and rely on a translator. Thanks, and have a good evening.
