The third Matrix..
TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT
FOR ME...
Was it "Reloaded"... I cant even remember
Damn right, Matrix 1 was a wonderful film with so much potential, a massively original storyline and a great fanbase. Matrix Reloaded (2) was a decent sequel, relied a bit too much on speciall effects but it had some very decent moments and all in all was very enjoyable, but Matrix three was such a piece of sh!t I couldnt believe it, such butchery of a great series disgusts me, it was so disappointing it has to be one of the worst.

thought The Village was really good personaly !! great story and references.
Interesting how different the opinions on The Village are, it's not even out yet here in England but when it is I will definately be seeing it, even if only to see who's right.

Hands down, the worst movie I've ever seen is Garfield.
I am amazed you actually went to see it in the first place

Titanic
I would agree, except for that great moment where the boat is vertical and the people are falling off, some into the propellas, some hitting the funnels. That had me laughing so hard it single handedly projects it out of the sh!te catergory. That and Kate Winslet is lovely

Terminator 3- I really didn't like this one. No bone chilling soundtrack when a terminator was on screen, too much comedy in the film and a very poor storyline.
Yup, just like the Matrix, the series was set up fantastically, infact, in the case of Terminator, 2 was even better than 1, but T3 was shockingly bad and shockingly falsely advertised. The trailers made out the post-apocalyptic flashforwards to be the actual film which was very misleading. I felt cheated.

two words......star wars....
Dont be a dumbass, the Star Wars films are legendary, esp the originals. They may not seem to good now, but when i was a kid I loved them as do thousands of kids. Very important, groundbreaking films.

You're all a bunch of retards.
All these movies are recent big name movies... what about films from 20 years ago that aren't even popular? They definatly would be sh!t house, a lot worse than 'the third matrix' or 'titanic' that frankly, were not even that bad at all.
You all say 'this is the worst film ever because it sucked' but seriously, you haven't seen enough films to judge what is the best and what is the worst, and you don't have such long term memories to remember what fimls REALLY suck, thats why you only suggest the big films and say 'this is the worst film ever because it is BIG NAMED and the ONLY FILM I KNOW ABOUT, therefore it sucks'.
There are many bad films, but the worst film ever would not be anything any of you have suggested, there is always something that will be worse, something you have never heard of before.
I see your point. In my original post I tried to include a mix of big names, such as Godfather 3, and older small budget movies, such as Fillini's Roma. I think the disappointment factor in many big films is a very important one however, the let down adds enourmously to them being awful films. I am a big fan of foriegn art cinema, expecially of Fillini, so the let down when I saw Roma, unquestionably his worse film, makes it stand out for me as worse than other low-budget movies. I suppose it depends how one defines 'worst' - the worst made, least popular, biggest flop, biggest disappointment, lowest taking etc. I mean, technically, Heavans Gate should be the worst as it cost $200m and made $25m, bankrupting a studio (United Artists) along the way, but it still is good to watch. It depends on how you look at it.
EDIT: I have seen well in excess of 1000 films (I'm sad) so I think I have seen enough to judge, but I see what you mean, most films we only go out to see because we think we will like them, so the really crap ones are really the ones we know will be crap so we dont even see them, or one of the millions of Bollywood or Oriental films that no westerner has ever heard of.
