Jesus christ. Riquleme is the KING of freekicks. Beckham aint got ish on this dude. But its strange that he gets no game at villareal and still plays like a real star for Argentina. Its like the story of Gilberto for us at Arsenal. He hasnt really played at all this season but still is a starter for Brazil, which has been crap so far for the qualifing games.

And is it just me or is INTERNATIONAL football a big waste of time. BORRRINNNGGGGG. I cant wait till this is over for REAL football to begin!!!!

Well, well it seems the wednesday will have the most interesting clashes so far, and one then another interesting rivalry.

Argentina and Colombia are the only 2 teams that didn't get scored yet, and they will face eachother tonight.

By the way, it seems that Riquelme is having a good time with free kicks, i got to admit that the 3rd goal against Bolivia was the best Argentina scored so far in these matches, even though all the play was made by Messi, who had a great match too, it was Riquelme who scored, and seeing it live looked a lot better than on TV.;)
It seems that Demichellis is the strongest contender to replace Ayala in the national team, and i hope we can get to see Mascherano for many more years on the national team.

Venezuela beat Bolivia 5-3 in a thrilling and kick ass match ... both teams gave everything for the match. But I feel kinda sorry for bolivians cause they were winning 2 times at the match and they had in Martins a key player.

Uruguay is up 1-0 against Brazil in Brazil. Uruguay seems to be close to score the second one.

EDIT: Heh, and Brazil ties it 1-1 in the regular fashion, unfortunately for the players they'll need 1 or 2 more goals to trade 70,000 whistles for chants.
