cassano, sniejder, robben and pepe.

Sneijder has impressed me from what I've seen of him - I would suggest however that Robben is established (and has disappointed)

Speaking of Portugal, I think Nani may just announce himself to the world - he's come on leaps and bounds in his first season with United.

lets see after having watched day one...I like Joao Mutinho for Portugal as well as Pepe great showings by both.

Didnt see much from any individuals in Turkey or Czech rep. I did fancy Hakan Yakin, but he's not a 'new promise' per say

Really? I thought Moutinho was very unimpressive in the first game. Pepe was the only Portuguese player that really stood out for me.

Oh the last goal was due to Moutinho's sweet turn-over and his pass to Meireles.
Pepe looked very impressive also.
Today we'll get to see Croatia's side, and am expecing great things from them.

Ok, day two is gone and three players get my special mention...Harnik from Austria; Podolski (showing Bayern that he should get a chance or be sold) and special mention for Roger Guerrero, AM for Poland who looked very good when he came on as a sub.

Roger Guerrero looked very energetic and pacy to me. He is another one of those 'Brazilian born but playing for other country' type players. What's it with these Brazilians? Even in EURO they are stealing the show.

Gomez looked very dissapointing. Maybe the BIG occassion got the better of him.But Podolski proved that he still has the touch and composure. Maybe he is'nt that bad after all.
