Who could steal the show at EURO 08

Tournaments usually bring new stars to the attention of the world, so who do you think we should be watching in EURO 08 (That isn't an established superstar)

Starting XI
The one who could steal the show in my opinion is Joe the Gate Keeper (cashier at one of the ticket gates - long grey beard?). Why? Because he has easy access in and out of the stadium. He can sneak in during a game if he needs to and then leave without raising suspicions (employee uniform). Is he capable of stealing the show all by himself? Yes. :mrt1:

Rakitić is the best talent IMO from Croatia (the kid does wonders and he's 19) although both Modrić and Kranjčar are exceptional too, i hope one of these guys gets the spotlight :) , especially Modrić a lot of people call him one of the best talents in Croatia for a long time. Spurs really did a good job buying this kid, and if they get Giovanni and keep Berbatov too they can push for the 3rd place not 4th IMO. :)

João Moutinho

I mean, he's established already, but not in a larger European scale...

Man Utd have been linked with him. I'm curious to see if he's any good. Our relationship with Sporting means there may be a move in his future.

Well playing 50 games per season wouldn't be a problem to him. Plus he's already Sporting captain, and he's also their best player. And he's like 20. So it would be a more clever move than when you bought Ronaldo, in my opinion.

Well as I said, United seem to have good relations with Sporting when it comes to transfers. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do, Portugal have several exciting players coming through - I also want to see Quaresema play too (although he's older and more established)

Yeah, I'm very excited to see that young Croatian midfield too. Should be either excellent, or slightly disappointing, but great experience for South Africa in two years.

IMO,If France get past thier group then Benzema might just shine.
I will also love to see some other Portugal players shine other that Ronaldo. João Moutinho could be a good bet.Modric will almost definitely steal the show.
Russia's Arshavin could also be good, finally.

(H)!!!!!!

I actually burst out laughing when I read that but then I felt a little sad :(. The guy really can be a great player if he's in form, it's a shame he's got absolutely no brains though.
