GOAL AC Milan 3-3 Liverpool :hump:
Dramatic scenes as Liverpool are awarded a penalty after Gennaro Gattuso floors Steven Gerrard.

After a short delay Xabi Alonso has his kick saved by Dida but is on hand to slam the rebound into the roof of the net to complete a remarkable recovery.

there is a God :)

Jesus saves but Xabi Alonso scores from the rebound :P

For me, in recent years it was Harry Kewell's winner against Arsenal in the penultimate round of the EPL in season 02/03.
The long ball over the top by Matteo i think, there was a question of control with the arm, but when he struck that shot with such venom Seaman had no chance, the ball streaked across him and into the far corner and we were safe for another season :)

King Henrik's away goal in Boavista in like the last few minutes to get us into the uefa cup final was pretty special. As was his awsome run and then lob in the 6-2 thrashing of the other mob.

2 other great goals were both when we smashed liverpool in their own backyard, thomos free kick under the wall, and big johny hartsons rip snorter from outside the box, top corner.

In terms of memorability on a general scale i think those two are very close. But for me, watching that game live (and remember it was a cracking 3-2 win for us and a great game in all) on the edge of my seat this goal is more memorable for what it meant for the club that season and in general.
I think if we went down that season we might have been in even more trouble as we had another season of EPL revenue to limit the damage that eventual relegation cost the club.

So both great and memorable goals but Kewell's for me is the most memorable :)

Well I kind of fell in love with football after Kluivert poked it in with the top of his toe through Rossi's hands and netting the winning goal in CL '95 so I guess that's the most memorable goal for me.

its pretty sad when your most memorable memory is a worthless Supercup goal. Sums up Inter though.

well, regarding it is a worthless goal from your opinion, it's still considered as an 'official' Cup between Serie A winner & Coppa Italia winner. So, I think it's a worthy goal for me due to that. :mexican:

Without a doubt...

Geovanni late goal against Sporting in Alvalade season 2003/2004

and

Luisão late goal against Sporting in Da Luz season 2004/2005 - Orgasmic!!

Zidane's volley against Bayer Leverkusen in Champions League which mean't 2-1 and the title to Real Madrid. :rockman:

Probably Edward Linkens scoring the 1-1 at Bernabeu vs. Real Madrid in the semi final of CL in 1988, and qualifying thanks to that goal. It was a very strange goal too.

You call Luisão's goal orgasmic? More liek "frango"...

That Geovanni goal made me almost destroy my door. Sporting didn't deserve to lose it, that was the only good shot Benfica had, and scored...

definitely costinha against machester in the CL quarter finals, derlei's final goal against celtic in the uefa cup final...and madjer's backheel back in 87(H)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer`s winning goal agains the German ****s at Nou Camp. Flew right above Kuffour`s head. Can`t say I don`t feel a single pity watching that grown up center back cried like a baby at the end of the match :(

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
I remember Owen's FA Cup double against the Arse in 2001 as the most important (of course, the CL final goals were more important, but not as memorable as Owen's)... as for aesthetics, Owen's scissor kick against Benfica in a pre season match (can't remember the year) and Mellor's screamer against Arsenal... oh, and that Gary McAllister free kick against Everton...

another goal I like to watch, but not Liverpool related would be Sylvinho's goal for Arsenal against Chelsea... fantastic shot...

Baggio vs Real Madrid :rockman:

But I will never ever ever forget Recoba's shot from outside the area to give Inter the win against Sampdoria last year.

The emotion I felt from that goal will only be surpassed by an Italian World Cup win
