but why they cant get the champion?
because there's Abramovich... Arsenal doesn't have Chelsea's money to spend...
What do you think Wenger should do? keep all the players and buy no one?
Vieira is awesome, but hasn't been as brilliant as he was... keep him for one more season and you'd sell him for almost nothing...

Chelsea got the champion because they have Abramovich, then will Chelsea get all the champions remaining?

I think we'd only get Chivu if we need to replace Cygan to warm the bench.

can't believe no one quoted this

Chivu is one of the best CB's in the world he is Jonh Terry level if not better

the season before last when Roma almost won Serie A they conceded the least amount goals ever with Samuel + Chivu

If they spend wisely I see no reason why they won't... but I thought the point was about Arsenal...
If Arsenal had the money Chelsea do, then they wouldn't have to sell Vieira, and I doubt they would... but the thing is, Arsenal does depend on transfer money to buy players, unlike Chelsea...
Chelsea ARE improving every season, Arsenal have to do so if they want to get anywhere near the premiership title... but Arsenal have to get money to improve their side, and the only way they can get that is by selling players.. Vieira is good, yeah, but then again they have another good player for the position (Gilberto) and they can improve their squad with the money they got...
it's quite simple, you can stop trolling now...

Robben also get several blow over the knee, Chelsea have to sell him then??

Robben's left leg isn't 3 centimetres longer than his right. :nape:

And his problem isn't chronic. Vieira's had a history of leg injuries. And as you know (well, maybe not), an injury is almost always more damaging to a 29 year old than a 21 year old.

Maybe you have to take some psy class, as you guys are tense over the forum
Naw we'll all chip in & pay for you mate. I'm sure the psychiatrist can get you a little more open-minded. Yeah Frost it really looks like jeremy vs. the world in here ;).Now in football its hard to be sure of anything(except Chelsea's $$ :jap: ). Wenger's whole plan might fall apart or it might be a big success. Time will tell. So give both Wenger & everyone else here a break k.

God, speaking to him is making me feel dumb.

mika, I know he is a good defender, I've seen him play. He is very good at set pieces as well. But buying him is like buying Jonathan Woodgate. Absolutely useless.

I see you haven't answered my question... what would YOU do if you were Arsenal's manager (Ok, I do feel bad for that statement... I'm sorry, Arsenal fans..)

I don't think Wenger had allot of choice with Viera's transfer anyway. Viera hasn't had the motivation for 2 years at least, he doesn't look as fit and "spritely" as he did when he first joined, therefore move to Italy. The game is slower and more about stamina than explosive bursts of sprinting etc. Good move for Arsenal and Viera

I think sold Pires before Vieria is much better

As you see Arsenal's attack can now rely on their youngsters

And if that does happen to Robben, wouldn't Chelsea want to cash in on him now? So by insisting Robben's career is over you have completely discredited yourself in regards to Arsenal's selling of Viera.
