What if Van Nistelrooy gets hurt?

No harm done ofcourse :D, good question actually, I personally would like to see the spotlight shine on Diego Forlan, but would pick Ruud over him obviously.

Thats what they have that money for, the money they have stored from the Beckham and Veron departures. What is it like 23 million. If he gets hurt they will get some one when the transfer window is open in January.

I'll dance up and the down the street. Hopefully it's before the Liverpool match so we can record our first win, if the referee doesn't give them 100000000000000000 penalties.

If Ruud injured b4 the match vs pools, it's ok, as Dudek will give the ball to Forlan to score.
Thanks Dudek.

what if Rvn got hurt?

hmmmmmmmmmmn, maybe the penalty areas of opposing tems would need less re-patching?
I heard after the Charity Shield they had to re-do the entire penalty area after his diving.

Antithesis Times carried this report:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Ruud Van Nistelrooy, the second-rate striker for English Team Manchester United may just be making headlines off the field; a rare occurence for a player well known for guarding his private life.

It seems the Chief Groundsman for the Millenium Stadium in Wales that housed the traditional season opener is considering a lawsuit against the player.
"It was like a war-zone out there. There were holes all over the penalty area. I am not letting him get away with this. This will cost us well over 100000 pounds (english currency)."

Van Nistelrooy had no comment on the impending lawsuit, but his manager, the normally tactful Sir Alex Ferguson, had this to say,

"I don't give a fu*k about the stadium or Wales, were it not for Giggsy and Hughes I would not even know they fu*king existed. If a few dives are such a problem, ManU will buy a stadium for the FA, or they can play it at Old Trafford every year".

Reporters were left shaking their heads at the tirade.

yea i think united are screwed without ruud. they just won't be as screwed as most other teams would because they still have formidable backups in forlan and solskjaer. even though they have all that money available for another signing in january, they'll still need to find a striker who hasn't played in europe so he'll be cl eligible. so it'll be slim pickings.

Come on guys...NO!!! United w/o ruud are fine, remember (even if it was a friendly) game against Barca in the US, or last season against liverpool, chelsea, etc. Forlan CAN and will score goals for United, he is a descent striker and should continue to improve, he probably has the best hussle in the EPL next to Leister's Dickov. FORLAN ALL THE WAY. Remember this, FORLAN only scores when u least expect against team u would never figure he could score against, just check the record.

Wow bright idea for a thread. This is just the formula for a flame war. Actually I think that we'd be screwed without Van Nistelrooy. Without him I think we'll need to start Ronaldo and Kleberson, as those are the more creative midfielders who will give the other strikers more chances.
