You're right though, I hate books you have to read to school because of that...either way, "Memorial do Convento" is kind of boring anyway..

Currently reading Trudy Canavan's Dark Magician Trilogy. Her writing is aimed at the Young Adult audience, so limited sex and violence, but a good storyteller. i sometimes need a break from Pratchett!

Don't forget, reality is for those who can't face science fiction :D

Speaking of Sci-Fi, I borrowed a Philip K. Dick short-story collection from a friend, and so far I've read:

Roog
Beyond Lies the Wub
Electric Ant

PKD wrote a lot of his stuff under the influence of mind-altering substances. But his books have made some good films; Bladerunner and Total Recall are based on Dick's writings.

I know, the friend I borrowed the book from is quite the PKD freak.
Same goes for Minority Report and A Scanner Darkly, the latter of which is highly recommended. :)

I was off for almost 2 weeks! No computer, no internet, no SG. The worst thing I've found out during my days without PC is that I'm so addicted from the Internet. I didn't waste my time and I read several fantastic books such as Dracula, The Godfather and Catch 22. Reading is such a great way to kill some time.
