yeah you have a point,their customer service particurly on pc games is abysmal,remember mgs2 on the pc ,they need to take a leaf out of valves book but to be fair i saw a 'making of' feature on pes and they have a very small team working on the game and konamis hierarchy dont seem to appreciate them enough imo ,look how long it took to get some licenses etc

When you are recieving a pass, you hold the R2 button down and use the movement keys to move further away from the ball before pressing the Shoot button. That will give you more accurate header. You can check it out on http://www.pesmoves.com

well, i thought i had AA working. Turns out it wasn't. I guess i had the AF cranked so hard it sorta looked like AA.
I still sometimes get a weird pitch flicker thing in WE:8 that i don't get in PES4. It's like, sometimes the texture will suddenly change. Hard to explain, but it's not the same flicker that's caused by the bad pitches.

After playing a bunch more games of WE:8 and comparing it to PES4 i've noticed a few minor differences.

-the numbers on players jerseys seem more clear for some reason.

-the ball seems to bounce higher. I have trouble getting nice volleys in PES4. In WE:8 i had like 3 good hard one bounce volleys in the first half of my last game (missed the net on all of them of course).

-is it just me? or does Beckham have a different free kick animation in WE:8?

-this could also be just me, but i find the game a bit harder.

Other than that it's exactly the same.

Players don't fall over so often, so less penaties more than likely as well.

Smoother gameplay.

Players don't make so many stupid passes.

Medium crosses seem slightly different to me, they seem more controlled.

I actually find the game easier for some reason, probably because the more frustrating parts of the game seem to have been ironed out. Not overly sure if this is a good thing.

Volleying has certainly improved.

The ball doesn't bounce out needlessly for a corner as often as it did in PES4.

Haven't really played that many games though to judge clearly.

And I also had the same problem, my pitch was perfect but the next time I loaded the game up it was back to flickering..wierd.

what are peoples problems with AF. it works fine for me, just put it on 8x and you dont need AA on as if you want the edges to look smooth just cracnk up the resolution

What kind of screenshots? It looks pretty much the same as PES4.

I have ****in had it with this "game", one day it works and the next it doesnt, god damn..

I tried AF 2-8 and still slow, even now with vsync off its slow ffs, and thats even with low quality, windowed mode AND 800x600 RESOLUTION!!

I have played hundreds of games and none are as **** as the PRO/WE series, waiste of space..

I can play UT2004 and Counter Strike Source, but I cant play a ****in ****ty football game, GOD SAKE!!

Ah well, seems its a PS2 job

this will be helpful for a lot of people with low-range pcs who easily get their hopes up...
