I have a 6800 GT and AA and AF would be a nice addition.

About the inserting of the ball issue,, I changed the Modified Reserve slot and I put in the new bin and tex.bin but still gave me an error.

Went through all the training, I saw no new tricks, could be "hidden" though

I feel like the game is quite faster, the R2 accurate headers are better, volleying if faster, etc.

well pes4 supports af i believe as i did a test with no aa and af on highbury,night and the pitch was sorta flickering,it looked really bad,i then put aa on 6 and af on 16,the pitch was sorted then because of the af so pes supports af but there was no difference at all with 6aa on jaggies,just look at the nets,easy way to find if aa is working,i used radlinker aswell and no look,the game just doesnt support it like splinter cell etc,you can force it all you want but there'll be no difference

What is your CPU settings paulie?

I got a GeForce 4 Ti 4200, 1gb of ram and 1.84ghz CPU speed and I have to play on 60 hz and with medium quality for PES4/WE8:I to run good..

It is vsync that kills my game, turning it off results in huge graphic glitches, and having ot on results in very slow gameplay, so turning the quality to medium is the only solution..

Although its wierd because the game ran fine on high quality with vsync on with my old 4600, and I cant imagine there is that much of a difference.

yes v-sync can kill games but i have it on and the game is locked at 60fps,with it on in a game like far cry on my comp it can really bring down fps but pes is fine,i noticed plaing in windowed mode seems faster,not faster gameplay but just better frames but pes is locked at 60 so it makes no diff for me tbh

one thing i find in other games that improves particurly loading times etc is in creasing your games heapsize,king you have a gig of ram so you have plenty to spare ,copy this into your pes4 command line

I see, any chance you can tell me what tool allows you to see the fps?..

I also tried playing on 800x600 and it was very fast, but like you said it was the frames, only problem is, playing on 800x600 using 60hz made my screen HUUUUUUGE..

I think it might be the dpi, you get a small or a large, aint sure what it does though but its something to do with the stretching of the monitor on different resolutions.

I think it just fits it all on the screen, who knows

my first impressions of we8I compared to pes4

+overall controller response feels better. I was
occasionally fustrated with pes4 and my ps2->pc
controller

+some nice volleys happened during my last three
games. dunno if konami has tweaked this a bit, but ppl
know how ofter volley ends up as a header or low shot
off the target

+i thought i saw some new goalie animations, after hard
shot my keeper punched ball clear and went rolling down
the ground. looked neat (even tho he went through the
side netting..)

+overall AI feels wittier. some nice 1-2 passing from
computer to break my defence line

+player stumbing while opponent chases you down
decreased


haven't had any handballs yet what others said they do.

Nah still the same, I get a solid 60 fps constantly but when I get near the goals it drops to 40, sometimes even 30..

This is on 60 hz with vsync on, bloody pain in the arse.

It is a wierd thing this, because sometimes the game runs perfect, but at random intervals it starts to get sluggish, then i goes perfect again..

I could probably code the game better myself.

And I agree about the AI, it does seem better because I couldnt score on 3 stars with Chelsea against Bolton, it went to penalties where I won..

But on PRO4 I could easily win 6-0 on 3 stars, both on 10 minutes, but whatever I tried to do against Bolton it didnt work, so it seems to be better..

king did you import we8 or are you in america?

also havin your refresh rate at 60 hertz is quite bad for your eyes,i have mine at 75thz,as long as your not playing hours on end im sure its fine though

Anyone else have a sort of jynx with this game?..

First match for the PS2, I kick-off, grab the ball and about 6 seconds later get snapped and a yellow injury..

And the exact same thing happened on the PC in my first match, very wierd.

I have my settings on medium, but the pitch looks like its animated and it really buggers my eyes.

Anyone else have the same problems?

Anyone know why the EDIT PRO4 option file editor can load the WE8:I option file but cant save it as a WE file?..

I also tried using the PRO4 option file with WE8:I, and obviously it didnt work..

yeah i had this sorta prob yesterday but it was fixed by turning af to 16,but it might have been fixed by something else as i was tweaking a good bit yesterday,did you try the heapsize change?maybe you imputted it wrong
