The proevoNET project’s goal is to be able to play PES3/WE7 by the Internet

You’ll tell me it’s a huge program ? yes but why shouldn’t we try ?

This project won’t have any reason to exist anymore if KONAMI releases an online version of PES but while it isn’t a fact I want to do my best in order to get some results.

People skilled in video treatment and streaming under Windows and/or Networking who would like to contribute to the project are welcome.

PRINCIPLE :
You should wonder : How could we have a game which isn’t designed for it become « Online » ?
Let’s start with the following principle : Whatever happens, a « virtual Multiplayer game » of PES will always be started on a unique computer.

Then, the answer stands in two points :
Considering we have two computers linked together trough the Internet :
PES is launched on PC A
PC B have to interact with the game running on PC A

Then we’ll have to :
relay commands done on a gamepad (connected to PC B) to PC A
provide PC B with PC A’s display ( it enables the second player to see the match what is better )

Theoretically this principle seems easy and logical, but from a technical point of view, things gets complicated …

At this point i need any help i could find.
I’ll start testing several software solutions which would be able to realize those two objectives.
I’ll post my research results on our forum but I’ll welcome anyone who would like to help me for this project so don’t hesitate to contact me if you are ready for some experimentation aiming for something totally new for the PES community.

Good luck with it. I tried a few months of getting it to work via remote supervisor software such as PC Anywhere etc. but the problems I encountered were:

- Getting the sound to stream simultaneously was a nightmare.
- Getting the inputs from the 2nd controller (remote PC) proved difficult and there was a huge delay (almost like trying to play on a 56k modem).

It's not too hard to actually stream the screen in windowed form although anything less than a 2ghz PC and a good graphics card on the remote PC causes the screen to hang.

I'm pretty sure it can be done. I'n no networking genius and it sounds like you guys have a pretty good knowledge on what needs to happen to get it to work.

second point i dont understand what you ment here :

No it doesnt , you get the first year free when you buy the game.

Anyways if its done well I would be happy to pay a monthly subscription to play PE/WE online.

hey you should try something like the multi theft auto (grand theft auto multiplayer mod), cuz the game wasnt meant to be played multiplayer thru internet, but with that mod u can do it. Maybe that helps to do the same with we7/pes3

U guys playing WE/PES on pc are lucky since atleast there are guys like them who are trying their best to make playing WE/PES online possible right now. For PS2 users like me, we jsut have to wait till Konami release it......

*Probably Konami will release it when WE comes out for Playstation 3*:crazyboy:
