It's a joke. The FA got an official allocation of just over 5000, the 22nd smallest of the 32 participants! Then there are limited tickets sold directly by FIFA but the majority of tickets go to corporate sponsors and the like which is disgusting and is the reason why so many games are filled with neutrals (except Germany and England games).
However, no matter how much England fans have had to pay the touts we still end up having 90% of the crowd.
For example a mate of mine went out to Frankfurt for the Paraguay game. He spent £900 for a ticket from a tout. Much to his amazement the ticket was meant for the Jordanian football association! Why the **** are tickets going to the Jordanian FA for an England game?
