Not that the game mattered much and I don't care if Germany are the hosts and deserved the 3rd place more than us (which I think they did) but we gave away two free and completely stupid goals.

FT 3-1. Congrats Germany, deserved victory. It was a nice match, great goals, some attacking football and good performances by key players.

and good show by Portugal, I'm proud of our performance tonight (minus one or two silly Ronaldo situations, although he played well later in the game). We showed a lot of character to fight for a consolation goal even after being down by 3 goals. 4th place isn't bad at all, we'll take it!

Pauleta was shocking again (but he did create two chances which is alot for him) and Nuno Gomes showed Scolari who is the best striker out of the two with his superb header.

I would like emphasize the attitude of all german fans clapping Figo when he got on. Great moment in that heartfelt hug btw Kahn and Figo too. Real class from the germans. I always had a good image from german fans and this only contributed even more.
Congrats Germany on the win. You totally deserved it. Kahn was amazing today and made me remember why I had him on every one of my teams in FIFA games from 2002-2004. Bastion was something else with those rockets. And even though I don't like Portugal I was happy to see them score b/c of Luis Figo. Great game overall.
