Well, ill never forget the 3-2 win at the world cup. And up untill Euro 2004, i thought Portugal was the most overrated team in the world.
The team we saw in World Cup 2002 was overrated. Poor on defense and they lacked speed and teamwork in attack. They had great individual players but they just didn't work well as a team. That's not to take away from the USA's and Korea's results. Portugal were still a very good team and would have taken care of weaker opposition (like they did with Poland).
The team in EURO 2004 was different. Faster, excellent team play, great possession game. Right now they're one of the best teams in the world, maybe the best in Europe.

ROFL, Ok... first of all who gives a f*ck about FIFA LIST..and USA being on the 10th place...which is IMHO wayyy fuc*ed up... there is at least 30 better national teams than the USA, and we all know this. I know I will get ganged up by the American folks on this forum but you know I`m right. Americans don`t like or watch football that much they` rather watch MLB, NFL and their sports.. leave the football for people who care about and who actually know how to play the sport..

As of right now Europe/South America and Asia are the ones who are most enjoyable and peoples favorites to watch.. and that`s that.
Some American players that play in Europe are good but well overrated by the Americans.. like Landon Donovan... WHO ?? the guy couldn`t even play in Europe because he had no skills and had to leave Germany to polish his football skills someplace else that place being USA. It`s like Europeans coming to play baseball or American football.. you see where I`m getting at..
You watch any football league in the world chances are it will be better than MLS. MLS is extremely boring, the pitches don`t even look real, the crowd sucks.. there is no football atmosphere at all.. the goals look screwed up..actually everything looks screwed up..
And one reason I don`t understand is WHY would world give respect to the Americans when it comes to football just why... because FIFA put USA in 10th place.. ?? or because you play versus teams that suck ba!!s ?? Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala. what ?? USA should be lucky that they play teams like this otherwise they would NEVER qualify for World Cup..
Tell me they are better than Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia or... all European NAT. teams...??
