Having had a look at some people's line-ups, I'm very tempted to drop Vidmar or Popovic and bring in Michael Thwaite. Vidmar got exposed a few times in Montevideo, as did Popovic, and their lack of pace was for all to see. Maybe Guus could employ one of those defenders as a sweeper. Now I know that seems old fashioned, but seriously, they need the headstart on the Uruguayan strikers.

Well i'm not buying into all this bull**** between the aussies and the uruguayans on here, im of the view of may the best team win on the day.
I do think a little understanding is required from the uruguayans tho, you guys have been to most world cups recently and the passion and desire for us to finally get there this year is very high in Australia.
High passion leads to hot heads, its mostly nothing personal.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say we will stretch a 3-0 lead and Uruguay will score in the last 10mins to set up a tense finale in which schwarzer will block a few shots and save the day :)

HT Australia 1 (Bresciano) Uruguay 0. Interesting game. Alot of hard tackles but that was expected. Referee has been good so far.

Heh no problem, i didn´t knew it too, but i was zapping when i was having breakfast and noticed it. So much for law school this morning but i think this game will be worth it.
