Nah, i mean the commentator or however it's said that makes a more dept analysis of the game , i know that we sucked but even so... and i can see the things in a neutral way, when the games are in TVI the commentators biased to Benfica.

Anyway this is way off-topic , sorry about this.

Those Porto Ultras should be ashamed of those actions, one thing is trying to demoralize the other team another is those ridiculous monkey chants, we are in the XXI century ffs

if those chants were loud and clear to hear they wouldn't have any choice but to talk about it

and they're not as biased as are other comentators (TVI anyone?) in our country, they were bashing Seitaridis before that play in the first goal, and Seitaridis was playing rather well...

Just because you can't hear the racist chants doesn't mean it's not happening.

When I was watching the Madrid v Levante match a couple of weeks back I didn't hear or suspect any monkey chants, but then the commentators or whomever rewinded the tape for a replay and fucked with the audio frequency -- and that's when I heard it, so stop being a naive little shit and wake up.

i could hear 2000 chelsea fans singing, but i couldn't hear 40000 porto fans making monkey noises?

i was just trying to say that those who chanted are just a small percentage of all the fans that were there at the stadium, so small that not even the commentators on the stadium, any reporter near the pitch, the ref or the UEFA delegates heard them...and you can't generalize those chants to all porto fans!
i was upset because in the first posts everyone started to blame porto fans in general for beeing racist and that's not true...

bmpv666: You first said not all Porto fans are racists, and now you come saying you couldn't hear 40000 Porto fans making monkey noises? Now this is confusing...

To say the truth, I heard some monkey noises, but I immeadiately thought they came from the English section. Nevertheless, I ignore racism. It's easy for me to say, because it's not directed to me. But I try..

It's a shame UEFA don't investigate this at full. This is very simple to me: I'm a Porto fan since ever, so if there are racist morons among my team's supporters lets get rid of them as quickly as possible, end of story. I can tell you one thing, though: Porto fans aren't racist. If there are any bad seeds I bet they're amid the 'Super Dragões', which I'm not very fond of anyway. Like I said, just get rid of them.

What bmpv666 is trying to say is that he didn't hear anything - and neither did I, although I obviously believe in Benni's words - so it must have been a very small % of morons doing that.

Porto ultras are generally people of the lowest form, they're animals.

Don't be hypocrite. Like any other 'ultras' supporters from other clubs such as yours are any better...

At least the hostile reception Mourinho had been expected to face failed to materialise, although some of Chelsea’s black players were the targets of the racist abuse that has become depressingly familiar in areas of Europe. The locals should have had other concerns, with Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, the club president, in court during the match as part of an investigation into the bribing of referees , and the team showing seven changes after two successive home league defeats.

nah it dont hurt at all mate.....we already qualified so we had nothing to play for.We even rested some of the first team. You should be thanking us for letting you qualify for the last 16.I've always had a soft spot for Porto but i was dissapointed to see the Porto players falling over at any excuse and rolling around like babies, trying to get the ref to send off Chelsea players....very bad sportsmanship indeed.
As for the monkey noises.....i could hear them very clearly every time a black Chelsea player touched the ball.I suspect that it was indeed a very small amount of people, but as i said after the Spain V England game, why dont the police remove these people from the stadium. Why did they let the ignorant fools make those noises for the entire match.UEFA should be ashamed of themselves .If they need evidence of racist chanting then all they have to do is watch a replay of the game.I feel sorry for the decent Porto fans because these racist idiots make the club look bad

I dont think that removing them would be possible in the middle of the game , it would be hard to identify the people chanting from the innocent people around , and removing them would almost certainly start fights ,which could easily turn into a riot. The best solution is to use cameras and identify and ban fans from games. It shouldnt be too hard to stop once a few fans have been banned , others will be unlikely to chant.

I was watching the game and i heard monkey noises, only once, but i heard.
Not the 40000 supporters but a few. Just after a chelsea player touched the ball.
But those monkey noises... it's not racism!
Those supporters were just "talking" to each other.

We got dumb supporters, they got the british press...

Thelonious is right: maybe not a good idea to remove those idiots during the game, but Dragão's stad has a fantastic security cameras' system, so it wouldn't be hard to detect who were they.
I got the Kurt Cobain approach: "If any of you don't like gays or women or blacks, please leave us the **** alone."
