this is getting out of hand and IMO uefa should investigate this. the game of futbol is really getting out of hand witht the ridicules racist chants and the sad deaths. whats next? players having sex on the field? i miss how the game used to be played

Pretty disgusting if it's true, but I can't say I'm totally surprised, to be honest. There is a small minority of Porto supporters that I think would be capable of this. There was (might not be around anymore) an anti-Benfica website called "Anti-Mouros" that had quite a bit of sick racist "humour" on it, including stuff like photos of chimps with black Benfica player's names attatched to them. (:/)

I was just watching the other guy from "Super Dragoes" that says he wants to kill Mourinho because he TRIED to send a SMS to his girlfriend. Hilarious stuff

i watched the game from the start to the end and never at any moment heard any racist chants from the crowd, neither the comentatores said anything about it, and there are reporters near the pitch who are constantly reporting what's going on the subs bench and inside the pitch,they could have easly heard such chants, but then again it was never mentioned during the live transmission...

so it can come down to two things:

- both Chelsea players misunderstood those chants. maybe the chants weren't directed at them, maybe those weren't racist chants...
- those who chanted are just a couple of morons, who are close to the pitch so they could have said those things without anyone else hear it except for Chelsea's players.

in any case it's wrong to say Porto fans are racist! our "savior" has been McCarthy, and the fans love him, and chant his name like they did after he scored the 2nd goal. other players like Costinha and Derlei and ex-players like Aloísio are VERY respected by the fans because of what they have done for the club!

i was just trying to say that porto fans are far from beeing racist, not like some of you are already saying!
these chants are to blame, and i don't aprove them, but i don't also aprove taking a small part for the whole, those who shouted those racist chants do not represent the vast majority of Porto fans!

I can't help to think that if it was a set of English club supporters chanting racist abuse, the matter would have been investigated and would have been the main talking point in the media.

Racism can't just be ignored and I think tough penalties for teams and fans no matter how small the minority who are chanting, could solve the disgusting behaviour.

becuz its true porto fans are out to get mourinho and his chelsea team so it will come down to anything if that means pissing off some of the chelsea player (by making monkey noises which is really uncall for) but i can't say if it really happen or not just saying wat some porto fans may do to get some revenge (H)!!!!
