UEFA President a HATER on Chelsea

I say they should make Drogba play with a shock collar that shocks him everytime he's offside.

Perfect way to test technology in the game.

Pede has a point in this case.

No one would give a rats arse about the money Chelsea spends if they weren't successful.

Imagine that thing on Inzaghi. (H)

Punish Rijkaard? why?

Then Mourinho should be punished too. He came off the bench to complain when the ref showed Ashley Cole a yellow card.

Everytime Rijkaard is close to a ref there's a new conspiracy.

Conspiracy?

Far from it. I don't like it when coaches protest and discuss like this, just like I don't want to see any player discuss anything with the ref. There's no discussion. It's one thing to say "We were robbed" or something, but it's another to see our coach almost physically confront the ref. I don't care about Mourinho and his conduct, because he's already been insulted and punished too many times to count, I've lost interest, honestly. But our coach isn't Mourinho and he can't sink as slow to get all agitated and complain furiously before the ref after the match had ended. It's stupid and useless. The ref won't and can't change anything and Rijkaard has a duty to behave himself as a representative of Barca. We're a civilized club, and in case Chelsea don't mind Mourinho dragging their name through the mud, it doesn't mean we should go along with Rijkaard losing it. He's supposed to be composed and calm, and that's one of the reasons why I love him and admire him so much. Rijkaard was a reflection of civility and good behaviour until he, sadly, lost his nerves and went to discuss with Farina. He was no different than Mourinho in that situation.

Bottom line, I expect more from Rijkaard, and I consider Mourinho's conduct as a line of behaviour that mustn't be imitated.

This tendency that pretty much everyone showed in that game, the tendency to discuss every single call by the ref, has made UEFA angry, and rightfully so. It's something that shouldn't happen at top level. Those are not normal conditions to work under.

I'm not disregarding Mourinho's behaviour here. I'm just looking at our coach, because there's no use in talking about Mourinho anymore.

I didn't like it either but that's not the point, the point is there's no reason to punish Rijkaard. If they punish Rijkaard, they'd have to punish every single coach. It's not favoritism.

DT, when a manager enters the field of play, even at the end of a game, and intimidates the referee aggressively as did Rijkaard, to the point that he had to be physically dragged away kicking and screaming, that is breaking UEFA and FIFA regulations regarding the behaviour of club representitives. This to include players, coaches or indeed a manager. It is in black and white in the UEFA code of conduct. It is a punishable offence. Why UEFA decided not to bother taking it any further, only they know why. I have my own theory on that one of course.

To stand on the touchline and call to the ref is one thing but to go onto the pitch and get in the refs face is another. It is a breach of the rules. Thats why Rijkaard should have been punished.

While we are at it, why did UEFA do nothing about the bottles thrown by some Barca fans at the Chelsea players also?

This whole whitewash stinks. I guess thats one advantage of being a member of G14 huh?.......I wonder how much Johansson gets from G14 to keep things sweet.

I think Mourinho is the only one who would turn that match into an incident. Had Ranieri been your manager then, we would be talking about a different relationship between two clubs now.

Its no use trying to sweep Barcelona's role in that game under the carpet. It is a documented fact at UEFA that Rijkaard did indeed speak to Frisk in the referee's room at half time, so both clubs were as bad as each other on this occasion. As for the death threat against Frisk, we only have his word on that as no proof was ever offered. According to Frisk, one demented "supposed" Chelsea fan phoned him and threatened him. To suggest that idiot, if he indeed ever existed, took that action because of anything Jose said is just crap. In that case why didn't all 55,000 Chelsea fans on that night phone Frisk as well. It was alledgedly ONE "supposed" fan. Big fu<king deal. Get over it.

Frisk was a wanker and a Barca ass kisser so the world of football is well rid of him.

Why do you Barca fans carry on like your club is so whiter than white. You behave like your club is so honourable when we all know that the scheming Rijkaard is no angel , and also your players have a lot to answer for regarding their conduct, not just on that night but on other occasions too.

Hypocrites. Not everyone is so blindly stupid to think that Barca are so innocent.

As for Ranieri. Nice guy but not a threat to anyone. That is the only reason he was so liked. He was perhaps too nice and thats why he did not achieve in his time as much as he should of.

being fined is nothing for the high rollers that are chelski.

sorry...but if they step out of line for what ever reason...they need to be punished. I accept that even with my clubs i support.

So we are rich .....big deal, get used to it.

I agree that if clubs step out of line that they should be punished. The problem is this, when it comes to Barcelona for example, there is always a UEFA whitewash.

Rijkaard confronts the refereee on the pitch after the game at the Nou Camp and nothing happens. Barca fans throw bottles at the Chelsea players and bench and nothing happens.

Chelsea fart too loud and we are up in the dock again as the enemy of football. Its all bollocks.

Actually its part and parcel of having more money than anyone else, ( you can never have TOO MUCH money), which breeds jealousy, and having a squad as powerful as ours which breeds fear.

We know it and we don't give a crap about it.

sorry to be blunt. :ewan:
