People need to relax. Virgo wasnt having an honest go at Sheva, jeez. He was just responding in kind. Enough "loloz, Shevchenko is better than all you moron, ROFLAMO". God damn

Tiago sucked hard! (And he was a Benfica player)

Keown isn't from Portugal

actually that little hate against portuguese players isn't new in this board.

they get jumped on in every little chance some punks like Philler have.

And it just isn't only in this board. You can take a look at the players ratings on a website like skysports.com. Even if John Terry went to a game and sit on chair reading a paper he'd get an 8. Carvalho can work his butt off all day and he gets 6.

I wouldn't go so far into calling it racism but it certainly is discrimination.

I mean if all portuguese players are overrated how the hell did we get such good results in football in the last few years?

Btw I wasn't having a serious go at Shevchenko I just happen to think he's not the best striker in the world...shoot me. And the argument we don't have better strikers in Portugal is just retarded... of course we don't, we haven't had one half decent striker for like 20 years

As for Benitez, his tactics will lead to a blowout at the hands of AC Milan....this game quickly got out of hand and Chelsea dictated play in the second half. Employ the same crap against Milan and they will coast to victory. Given the inconsistency in the Premiership though, I' ll take the victory no matter how ugly it was..and this was AS UGLY A WIN AS YOU CAN IMAGINE !
With all due respect, Liverpool don't have a team to dominate Chelsea. They couldn't hold the ball, maybe Xabi Alonso had helped there.

It's fantastic, you're a Liverpool fan, your team is in the CL final and you don't look happy at all..

Your team eliminated the Premier League champions, what else do you want?

You must be a poet. You see text much deeper then others do.

Thanks for clearing it up for me.

I really dont understand how everyone is jumping on Eidur's back. He was being closed down at almost no angle, and managed to thread it past 2 players at nearly point blank range. If anything (and i hesitate to say this becuase people are alreay sh*ting all over him) the blame lies with Drogba. Surely a last minute dive or stretch couldve knocked it in.

That said, i was in many ways relieved Chelsea didnt score that chance. If they didnt earn it in 90 minutes, with 4 stoppage, then it was just as well they didnt score at all: this board, liverpool fans and the whole world wouldve called it a god damn conspiracy, and UEFA would get premature ejac at the thought of being able to fry the clubs balls once more

Mourinho deserves a lot of respect for shaking hands with all the LFC players after the game. Chelsea gave it their best shot.

Im glad i wasnt the only one who noticed that bit at the end, and i was supremely happy that they showed the respect that was due. Im sorry if he made some douchebag comment afterward about the better team losing, but thats the way he is sometimes.

About your tactics, I honestly dont think you will approach the next game at all the same way. I believe it was just circumstance (not having alonso) and in Juve (just wanting to win) that led to the hoof and chase game being played all night, but if you can get the early goal and dig in for 85 minutes, then hell, do it against Milan and get the prize anyway possible

Id like to see the whole team emulate Cisse's hairstyle though, a la the Romanian natl team (H) That sh*t he had on his head looked like a hedge maze

If i have you confused with an Ajax fan from another message board, and apparrently I do, then its my mistake. Thus, please ignore the first half of that sentence. The second half was in reference to the last laugh over Mr. Cruijff, who, and im not sure why, helped perpetuate that little verbal gangbang that Barca freely participated in before the conclusion of that tie. As I recall, you got irate about someone (err, pede) calling him a washed up loser or something like that for slandering Chelsea, and while I dont believe that at all, i cannot say the prospect of everyone that called Chelsea a disgrace, pathetic, the worst side in camp nou, etc, eating all their words.

Anyway, that quote just seemed a little out of line. Didnt mean to make a rude kneejerk reaction

Carvalho and Makelele were the best players on Chelsea side, Carragher was MoM. Shev is the best striker in the world, any halve chance is almost a goal and his positioning and pace is amazing. Being a good striker is not only about skills or physic, Shev isn't the strongest player, but he is damn cool when finishing and smart with his movements.

Liverpool's defence was good and Chelsea's attack was terrible, that's about it.

Chelsea had 1 clear goal opportunity throughout the whole match and Liverpool only had chances when Chelsea was going gung ho.

I can't see how Benitez is a genius or Mourinho was totally raped tactically. If any of you can please explain it.

Mourinho just didn't have that f*cking luck he always (not always now) has in decisive moments.

Well, the fact is that I really enjoyed the win is truth. My uncle in Liverpool almost immediatly called me he was screaming all over the place: 'Johan Cruijff was right etc.'

That's why I posted.
