I really dont understand how everyone is jumping on Eidur's back. He was being closed down at almost no angle, and managed to thread it past 2 players at nearly point blank range. If anything (and i hesitate to say this becuase people are alreay sh*ting all over him) the blame lies with Drogba. Surely a last minute dive or stretch couldve knocked it in.
That said, i was in many ways relieved Chelsea didnt score that chance. If they didnt earn it in 90 minutes, with 4 stoppage, then it was just as well they didnt score at all: this board, liverpool fans and the whole world wouldve called it a god damn conspiracy, and UEFA would get premature ejac at the thought of being able to fry the clubs balls once more

Mourinho deserves a lot of respect for shaking hands with all the LFC players after the game. Chelsea gave it their best shot.
As for Benitez, his tactics will lead to a blowout at the hands of AC Milan....this game quickly got out of hand and Chelsea dictated play in the second half. Employ the same crap against Milan and they will coast to victory. Given the inconsistency in the Premiership though, I' ll take the victory no matter how ugly it was..and this was AS UGLY A WIN AS YOU CAN IMAGINE !
Im glad i wasnt the only one who noticed that bit at the end, and i was supremely happy that they showed the respect that was due. Im sorry if he made some douchebag comment afterward about the better team losing, but thats the way he is sometimes.
About your tactics, I honestly dont think you will approach the next game at all the same way. I believe it was just circumstance (not having alonso) and in Juve (just wanting to win) that led to the hoof and chase game being played all night, but if you can get the early goal and dig in for 85 minutes, then hell, do it against Milan and get the prize anyway possible
Id like to see the whole team emulate Cisse's hairstyle though, a la the Romanian natl team
That sh*t he had on his head looked like a hedge maze

What the hell is that supposed to mean?
If i have you confused with an Ajax fan from another message board, and apparrently I do, then its my mistake. Thus, please ignore the first half of that sentence. The second half was in reference to the last laugh over Mr. Cruijff, who, and im not sure why, helped perpetuate that little verbal gangbang that Barca freely participated in before the conclusion of that tie. As I recall, you got irate about someone (err, pede) calling him a washed up loser or something like that for slandering Chelsea, and while I dont believe that at all, i cannot say the prospect of everyone that called Chelsea a disgrace, pathetic, the worst side in camp nou, etc, eating all their words.
Anyway, that quote just seemed a little out of line. Didnt mean to make a rude kneejerk reaction
