Dream Team

Starting XI
"The game against Barça was Jose Mourinho's 50th in charge of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues had never lost at home with the Portuguese coach on the bench. Until now."

"Barça ended that run in what was the Catalan club's 400th match in European competitions."

Actually dream Team, Charlton beat us this season at Stamford Bridge when they knocked us out of the League Cup, so that " unbeaten at home " record did not exist mate. Barca are only the second team to beat us at home in two seasons. Just thought i'd put the record straight mate....... :ewan:

Dream Team

Starting XI
Then Barça are only the first team to beat Chelsea at home in European competitions in two seasons. :rockman:

Third of all time. Their only two home defeats had been 2-1 to Lazio in 99-00 and 2-0 to Besiktas in 03-04.

..and the first team of la Liga to win at the Bridge :rockman:

I've just seen that the result against Charlton was 1-1, Charlton won it in the penalty shoot-out :rockman:

I don't get the Chelsea optimism.

True, we beat you while you had a man down, but you didn't do anything special even while it was 11 v 11. As for the red, I don't see how someone can complain. Del Horno acted like a lunatic, and who could blame Messi for acting. It was against the Dirty Tricks team, so you gotta play dirty from time to time. I would usually be disappointed in Messi, but I'm not because last season's tie made me hate Mourinho so much that I even hoped we would win like this, leaving Mourinho with something to moan about.
As for the Chelsea domination (lol), it was only for a short period of time because we didn't play at full speed. I don't know why that happened, but as soon as the players saw where the result was going they turned it on and swept Chelsea aside.

Now, this was on a ruined "pitch". The return leg is at OUR home, in front of OUR fans, and on GRASS. I just can't see Chelsea getting even near qualification. I'm not underestimating them, it's just that our passing game destroyed them at SB, and now it will be easier on a new surface.
And the best thing is, YOU have to attack US in the Nou Camp. It couldn't have gone better for us.

And please refrain from insulting Hauge because that fool Del Horno is the guilty one. The ref wouldn't have given him a red if he hadn't made those challenges. It's unfortunate for you guys that Hauge didn't card him for the first reckless challenge, and then decided to make up for it after the second. But that's all that is, bad luck. Del Horno brought it on himself and on Chelsea.

Two penalties.

Hey i asked you first. Now come on give an honest answer. Do you have a picture of Messi with his shirt off over your bed, and do you "pull the sausage" as you look at it. Its a reasonable question i think. :hump:

damn, for a moment i thought that you've had a glimpse of good sense... :funny:

But answering to your "reasonable question", hehehe... no i don't do any of that stuff... but i do find his skills more "exciting" than those of Chelsea's best players... :junior:

i'm awaiting for more "reasonable questions"...

i think its time to close this thread. it's now all the chelsea haters coming on and talking sh!t, most of which doesn't even make sense. barca fans, lets go back to our thread and celebrate. everyone else, thanks for the support, but now go and worry about your own teams.

after all, I don't get why so much taling about the red card but nothing about the two penalties.

I would prefer to have two goals more than having Chelsea without del Horno. He was useless against Messi, so Chelsea fans should thank the ref instead of blaming him.

anyway, I agree with Solaimaa
