Extremely difficult game for us! Barcelona are favourites by far. Anyway, they have very important absences for this first game and that may give us a stronger chance. As people have already said, although Barça's midfield and attack are extraordinary, their defence isn't on the same level. It's still going to be one hell of a task, because players like Deco, Ronaldinho, Eto'o or Larsson (just to mention a few) are world-class and can solve matches in an instant. We have to be on our best if we want to have any chance of discussing the result. We can't concede in this first game! If we do, especially in the early stages of the match, we're in for a destruction. But no matter what happens, we've already did very well to reach this stage the way we did and I'm extremely happy and proud of the team (contrarily to what has happened in the championship). I hope we have two great games!

Barça will score. Then anything can happen, 2-1, 1-1 or 1-2. Maybe Barça play a tactical game again and Van Bommel plays instead of Iniesta, because yesterday Rijkaard said that it's important to play a physical team.

Barça are favorites but the absences make this more equal, even though Nuno Gomes is also important for them.

I travelled today through a part of the country and there's definitely a good vibe going on. You can see it on people's faces. It's not something people speak or comment, but rather a thin nervousness laying behind our skins. We all know something will happen tonight. I remember such faces from exactly 2 years ago.

Want Benfica to win, but since I'm no fan of either team I'll just enjoy the match for what it is. I feel we're going to have a great game, very open and with a lot of goals, especially on the second half.

Whe already play with 2 defensive midfielders (Fernandes and Petit)... so we need someone to steer up the attack... Karagounis is a playmaker, and that's what wé have been missing for most games this season...

I really can't understand what's on Koeman's mind! And it seems he will be leaving Nelson on the bench once again... to play Ricardo Rocha as a right-back!
