I was kind of underwhelmed by this episode to be honest.

Also, Jesse sucks now. He was such a fun character before.

I don't like the fact that basically Walt seems to be in full control even though Hank is supposed to have him by the balls. Kinda defeats the purpose of the big showdown.

Bottom line would you guys prefer if Walt gets punished (whatever way) for all he did or that he ends the series as king of the world?

I don't like the fact that it seems as if Walt is always one step ahead and always in control since his mishap was what got him found out - leaving the book in plain view. You'd think he'd be scared shitless, but instead he passive aggressively threatens Hank.

Yeah but you can see it as a path of destruction which is bound to end in disaster or a rise since the very first episode from a simple man with nothing to lose to a legendary badass.

Yeah I thought it was little lame too how Hank backed down.

And I don't like how Walt will basically kill and lie about anything now. I now think he has some sort of mental disability since its not realistic imo.

Finally, someone gets it!

They ruined the Jesse character for me too, I'm kinda tired of seeing him moping around. It's like now I can't wait for a Jesse scene to end because it's the same all gloomy stuff.

True, but I don't think he's as in control as you suggest.

He's definitely not in control, which is why it bugs me that he isn't scared shitless. This is pretty significant and he's still giving the same bad guy spiel to Hank and Hank just kinda takes it. I mean, who has more to lose, Hank or Walk? Why is Hank acting like he's the one that has more to lose? I don't get it.

Because Hank's a good dude who actually thinks about other people and is having trouble dealing with all this. I don't know if he was that scared, more like taken aback with what Walt was saying.

I'd be stumped if my bland brother-in-law was talking to me in that way. Not scared, but stumped. I get the reaction, but I think Hank and Walt's actions are within reason.

Well, Hank has reached that conclusion on his own, but like Walt said, he really has no evidence to back this up and lock him up. Meanwhile, Walt has shown the kind of person he is and if he feels threaten, he will have no trouble getting rid of Hank, brother-in-law or not. That is why I feel Hank has been taken by surprised by Walt's reaction and "threat".

Walt just got rid of ten people and a lawyer in a matter of minutes. If he needs to and has to, he will get rid of Hank. Hank need to build a case and can only go after him legally, his a moral man with values. Which is why he has more to lose.

Maybe the writers see it this way: Walt will not see a jail cell, he is going to die, and he is a dangerous, unknown quantity, which comes as a surprise. Hank's power is therefor lost, whereas Walt has Hank by the emotional balls. He would destroy the family by doing anything and won't even get a result.

Hank had been reviewing a series of gruesome killings that were attributed to "Heisenberg" before Walt came in. He thought a standard threat of arrest and prosecution would shake Walt up and got reminded that Walt had faced far more dangerous threats and remained standing. This is going to force Hank to review his approach to this situation. My only peeve - albeit a tiny one - is that the entire episode seemed to be building up to that one powerful scene.

I am just waiting for Hank to make a connection between Jesse and Walt and than the main question is will Jesse break?
